Roy was responsive and careful and on budget. The hot water heater project required a helper due to its difficulty with corrosion and accessibility but the project went without a hitch. A couple of days later a bathroom remodel I was undertaking required some emergency help as the old toilet line sprung a leak. Beneath the floor. Old copper lines with leaky compression fittings were graciously repaired by Roy, who had to surgically remove portions of the subfloor in coordination with the larger project. He did all of this after hours with an emergency call and despite that gave a price break because I was a returning customer!

It went very well. He responded quickly to my contacting him from Angies's list. He also responded quickly to estimate and do the work compared to others I had called who just didn't even get back to me. He was very careful about his work and did a really good job.

Roy finished this job quickly and inexpensively. He was accommodating and patient with an older client with memory issues and her meddling, perfectionist son (that would be me). We will be return customers due to Roy's professionalism and reliability.

It went very well. He came when he said he would and worked until the job was finished. He did a very good job and I will probably call him again the next time I need work done.

He did good work but wasn't to sure he knew how to fix the door. So far it is holding. He missed a few spots while painting and I had to patch that also he was a little messy. Got paint on my granite counter top and tile floor. I was able to get it off. I would hire him again for minor jobs but would like someone more with more knowledge when it comes to my doors. s .

They came by with a teenage boy on a short step ladder. He says he got 25 bucks for the house full for starters. I had two or three pieces of aluminum roofing on my stable. The wind came through the trees, made a little bundle, flapped it back and forward and so forth. Until it split and broke in half. They had to go up there unscrew the old stuff, or take the old stuff, put it back, and drill fresh holes and screws. So the kid went up there, put some sticks to hold it down, and a couple of rocks. Put old screws in old holes. That was his cost, 25 bucks, plus I don't know how much for labor . He picked up the kid and came back the next day because they forgot the little ladder, so they picked that up and took that. So the third day he came back looking for money. He was standing out there and demanded 75 bucks for three house calls, and another I don't know how much. Another 25 bucks for screw gun screws and screwball pins.

Roy went over to our vacation house (we live out of town) and looked at everything we asked him to on the outside and the let us know what it would cost. He eased our minds because we thought there was a problem with something but he noted that it was a simple fix (and it was). We made an appointment to meet him, but we ran late. He was fine for rescheduling and when he came out to do the work, he was on time, professional, and offered a lot of insight into things we didn't know much about. He clearly was not trying to sell us services we didn't need. He didn't balk at working odd hours or in the desert heat. I am going to use his services again this fall when it cools down out there and take care of that forest in my back yard. :-)

Roy responded to my email within hours and contacted me about my needs within the same day. He came by the very next day to give me an estimate on the projects we discussed and we scheduled the project for the following week as he was currently working on a job. Later that day he contacted me and said he finished his current job would I like him to get started on mine. He began work on my projects later that day. He was very professional and honest. I requested a security door to be installed and he informed me the door I currently had could be repaired for much less. He was right. Instead of $250. for new door, the door I had was repaired for under $50. I am currently working with Roy on several more projects and I would recommend Roy's services to any of my friends, which I have already done. Thank you Roy.

Although Roy misplaced my contact number, we were able to make contact and he was able to show up to our appointment. I needed an estimate for debris removal and clean up. He was very thorough. He gave me a fair number. He was not familiar with roof estimates, which I also needed, but he called one of his fellow contractors. The roofing guy came and did a thorough job giving me an estimate as well. They were both detailed and they are local to the area. 262

The recommended company did a great job at a reasonable price. I'm satisfied.

Roy called back quickly, but since he doesn't do jobs in this area, he couldn't help me. I'm writing this review because of his quick and professional response.

Roy is an honest man. He has definite limitations and knows them. If he feels he is not the right guy for the job he says so up front. If he knows the right guy he will offer to contact said tradesman for you. The plumbing leak repair was not resolved. We had an actual plumber attend. When Roy learned that, he offered to offset his previous charge on the current work he was doing. He is a proud decent guy.

he worked me into his schedule on the day I called. he did a good job--courteously, economically, even informed me that he could have gotten me a deal on the disposal. he charged by the job, rather than the hour, which I like.

He did a terrible job. My son went to grab the bar. The bar came out and my son fell down. he said he would come back to fix it. He never came back. He should not be working. The wall board does not look like everything else.

He called when he was at Home Depot (he was already running late) and said it would be $100. When he left said it would not normally be $100, but he needed the money to pay bills. He was rude and does not belong on the list. I've never been so upset. It wasn't about the money, it was his attitude. He seemed like he thought he was more important than us. It really hurt my feelings.

Fixed a poor paint job. Installed baseboards.

We thought he had done a good job with the plumbing, so we had him come back and do a repair on the aluminum barn roof. He shot a few screws in the roof, left his ladder up and when he came back to get the ladder, he charged an additional fee to my father than what he had originally quoted me. I called to ask him about that, and he offered us an $25 credit towards future work, but I told him don't bother. When we got our spring winds, that part of the roof has since torn, a couple days ago we got a storm and now that section of the roof is completely gone. This weekend I have to clear out what's below that section of the barn so rain doesn't get in there.

He is great! He is very professional and good at everything. He did about ten different things for me.

When I called to schedule an appointment, they informed me I was out of their area. They did not give me a refund, I contacted Angie's List and they couldn't get my $40.00 back. SO if you have $40.00 and want to throw it away Roy's Home Repair will take it. Terrible way to do business.

After we tried to change out our bathroom faucet, we realized that this was a much bigger job than originally planned. We found Roy through Angie's List. After speaking to him for a while, I decided that he was the man we needed. He showed up when he said he would and started on the job. A little into it, we realized that this was not going to be a simple change out. Roy patiently did what he had to do. He spent more than double the time that he said he would, yet charged me a fair total price. Thanks to Roy, we have a perfectly installed faucet! We will use him again!
