My front driveway was old and cracked with numerous joints where sections had been added over the years. I wanted this replaced and widened out to the property line. My front steps were too narrow and sections were breaking apart so this needed a complete replacement. Danny the owner of C&M Concrete responded the same day to my phone call and came out the next day. He gave me some good ideas on enlarging the front steps and how he would make a curved edge. We also discussed a brick inlay which he would do. I got another bid, but liked his suggestions so went with C&M. Danny was able to start work in a few days which I was glad to hear since I wanted the whole project done by the end of April. The project went well with Danny on the job most every day with two other workers. He discussed with me even the smallest details and made sure it was to my satisfaction before proceeding. The front steps came out fantastic and the brick work was very good. He had hired a mason who did the brick work. I later paid extra to have a brick facing added to the house. This was not part of the original bid. The finishing of the concrete is very good. On the block wall he added steel upright pipes (I provided the pipes) at six foot spacing so a vinyl fence could be put on top. They did a careful job of setting the pipes accurately and true vertical. Overall the workmanship was excellent. This is one of the few jobs where I am 100% satisfied with the work. I highly recommend C&M Concrete.

Manny at C & M Concrete is one of the best contractors I have worked with in a long time. From beginning to end he was professional, his crew was professional, they were on time, and they did everything they said they were going to do. Our job was not the easiest as there were many tree roots that had grown under the sidewalk and in the area that the concrete was laid. Manny was onsite most of the time supervising his crew which not many contractors do anymore. I could tell he is very experienced. All of his recommendations were right on. I found Manny through Angie's List because the other contractor that was referred to us would not return our calls. I am now one of C & M Concrete's many happy customers! I will refer C & M Concrete and would be willing to be a reference for anybody who is considering concrete work. Thank you!!

Very well. Manny, the owner was on the job 90% of the time and watched over the job. His price was just a little above others, but it was worth a couple hundred dollars for his professionalism.

Manny was quick to respond to my request for a quote (where other companies took a long time to respond) and gave me a good price relative to one other estimate I received. He came out with 2 other workers and they were on time and did a good job. Overall, I'm very pleased with the result. Just a couple of comments. During the job they had laid some tools down on our new artificial turf and left some concrete residue. Fortunately, I saw it and washed it off before it dried and became a problem. They had also rinsed some of the tools which left some dried concrete in our yard. Not a big deal as I was able to break it up and rake it out. Just a few points off for that. Again, overall I'm pleased and I would use them again.

Called C&M Concrete to install concrete in my front patio located in Carlsbad. Manny came to look at my house to provide estimate within two days. Manny and his crew showed up and begun work even before the scheduled time. The work was completed in several hours. Manny was professional and courteous. Highly recommended!

Professional and punctual and personable He engendered a lot of confidence and he did what he said he would do. Started as soon as I wished and came on the dot. He. Really knew his business and knew what it would cost and gave me the details. He didn't even have to go back for 3 days to give an estimate which most providers do. And I got an estimate for the same job from someone else, who seemed great, but was charging 20% more. I will definitely use again.and highly recommend him

Manny came out and assessed the job quickly, discussing our requests with the utmost of respect and care. He and his crew were amazing. They tore out the old patio, laid rebar and made sure the drainage angles were perfect. The posts were rotten on the bottom, so they replaced those and put new and better supports in the same location as the old ones. Our concrete was tinted, per our request, and the workmen were always on time, very neat, and did an extremely professional finish. Our appreciation of Manny and his crew is great.

Excellent result. My daughter and her husband are very happy. I am impressed. This job was a a tear-out of a patio room and a redeck up next to the house and around the pool. My son-in-law has written his own review. I just want to say that I have kept the business card for future reference for myself and inquiries from friends.

Manny's always showed with the small crew for this job. Forms were set and I was impressed at the really excellent job of leveling with drainage, the filling in with road base to cut down on the amount of cement needed, the care with which reinforcement steel was placed and the pour. We used a pumper which made the work much easier. No problems, and an excellent porch is now in place.

He was very professional, his prices are right on target. He went above and beyond. I only asked him to fix the two top steps, but he fixed all four including the bottom two because it would look better. He did not charge extra for that. He went aboive and beyond and that impressed me alot.

We cannot say enough about Manny and the men that completed the work. First, the professionalism was top notch. Manny was always quick to respond to any phone calls, always punctual and kept every commitment he made to us and more. He often went over and beyond our expectations to give us the look that we were wanting. His suggestions and attention to detail were perfect. He drove all over San Diego looking for brick to match our current brickwork. When we had a sprinkler malfunction and flooded the area he had just dug out, he was meticulous In making sure everything was dried out appropriately and to his highest standards. We made some last-minute changes to where we were going to place a barbecue island which necessitated moving both the gas and electrical lines. He accommodated us without major expenses. He was on site for much of the work despite the fact that our project was a smaller one. He was also very helpful in showing us how we could resolve issues with some of the other brickwork completed years ago. His workers were diligent, hard-working, and always respectful. The final project exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with the work that Manny and his crew provided. We give our highest recommendation for this company and its owner, Manny.

C & M Concrete were very good. My experience with them was fine. No problems at all. I had a very up front interaction with Manny. He was very good and he did a good job. I don't see any negatives. He seemed to be pretty up front. I thought the price was reasonable. The quality was good and the responsiveness was very good. He was quite professional.

The first place I called (highly rated on Crag's List) looked at my small job and said the grill should be drilled directly into the patio pavers--no concrete required. I expressed concern about it not being level and he suggested washers could raise up one side. When the grill guy came to install, he pointed out right away that it would take an inch-and-a-half of washers on one side and said you need a concrete pad. The second place I called was C&M Concrete and they were more expensive but much more professional--did I mention the first place wanted me to have a plastic Coke Bottle on hand to place around the gas line! Results were great and the way one side was built up I was glad I didn't try to do it myself.

It took one day to remove the cement in the back yard, a couple of days of preparation and installation of the drain pipe, about one day to cut and install brick around the jacuzzi and one day to cement and do the finish. Thereafter they cleaned up everything.He made sure that everything was completed satisfactorily. I am really pleased with the results and the color.

The overall experience went very well. Owner Manny arrived on time for our initial consultion appointments and listened to our concerns about the regular flooding of the area during rain and reinforcement for heavy vehicles. He provided practical, environment-friendly solutions for us and we are very pleased with the results.
