I left a nighttime voicemail message requesting an estimate to replace all concrete in my severely cracked garage floor, driveway and side walkways. Manny responded the next day and was able to come to give me an estimate within 24 hrs. He arrived for estimate appointment nearly 1/2 hour EARLY -- which is not a bad thing, but it was first thing in the morning for me and I was not ready to meet with him. He wrote up the estimate on the spot and handed me a carbon copy before he left. I found his estimate to be higher than many contractors, but not nearly the highest. It is clear that Manny is a very competent concrete contractor, and I visited a couple of sites where he previously replaced concrete and the work was good. I did not choose to hire Manny because of price and overall personal interaction (which was at least in part colored by the fact I was gulping down my morning coffee since he arrived so early.)

It came out well.

Mr. Manny Melendez (not Martinez) was prompt in response to a request for an estimate, punctual in performing and completing the repairs, and workmen who were careful in their work and cleaned up completely. It was a difficult job requiring multiple individual trips up to roof and back to prepare and repair the chimney cap.

He came out right on time and gave me a good estimate. They held to the estimate and did a minor extension that was outside the estimate price. They finished the work in 3 days and I was happy with it.

He showed up on time to do the work. He called when he was on his way to my house. He was very courteous when he was there. He cleaned up everything when he was done working.

The work itself is fine. It is absolutely fabulous. On the driveway, I originally envisioned a bigger driveway, but I thought he was asking for too much money. It was going to be like 70000. He charged me more than the original quote. I did it anyway, but I was disappointed with the bill.

Manny showed up to bid on the job right on time. His knowledge of concrete was impressive. We spent a good hour going over the details of the new patio, bench and sidewalk. He was very helpful and made excellent suggestions and comments. His bid was very competitive. For these reasons, I went with C&M. Manny knows concrete. I felt very comfortable that he and his crew would do an excellent job. I am typically paranoid of contractors, but Manny put me at ease. He spent time with me going over the details of the job. He came over with his spray paint can to show me how my design would look once in. This was very helpful and allowed us to enhance the design. The job was done quickly: Two weeks start to finish including the demo. It was also done right. It looks amazing and we are very happy with it. I had other work done over the summer and Manny and his crew were the highlight of the contractors we worked with. I can't recommend him highly enough. I wouldn't hesitate to use C&M again.

We called for an estimate and Manny showed exactly on time. C&M's estimate was slightly lower than the other estimates. His crew was punctual and professional. The job went exactly as explained to us. The house was recently painted and they made special effort to keep the new paint clean, which we appreciated. The sidewalks look great.

I didn't end up using this company, though I'm sure they would have done a fine job. Basically, it was a matter of timing. This company was very professional and responsive. The price was very competitive.

Manny and his workers were professional, on time, and did high quality work. He did exactly what he said he was going to do.

MANNY WAS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. HE WAS PUNCTUAL AND DID EXACTLY AS WE HAD PLANNED. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH MATCHING THE CONCRETE COLOR AND TEXTURE TO OUR EXISTING DRIVEWAY.
