Description of Work: I don't want to slam him too hard because he just might do quality work. However, he did not follow up when he said he would. Maybe he is so good that he has too much work. Nevertheless, a phone call would be nice. We are all busy in our lives so I would give him a second chance to have the opportunity to earn my business. If so, just call... First time using Angie's List, not a good start...

Description of Work: Repaired an in-wall water pipe leak, removed and replaced damaged dry-wall, insulation, baseboards, and repainted two affected rooms. Removed and cleaned a water soaked furnace. At the same time, he replaced an aging hot water heater and two older water faucets in another room. | |Very fast emergency response to the water leak. All the follow-up work was of excellent quality, done quickly and for a very fair price. Dan is a nice guy who communicates well and is conscientious. He also made an extra effort to coordinate the water damage repair work with our insurance inspector.

Description of Work: It was a real pleasure to deal with Dan and his professional staff! He replaced a toilet in the guest bathroom and also the kitchen faucet. He even helped me pick out the new design. I will definitely be calling him to do more work on my house. I highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Replaced a section if fence. Scheduling was a little hard, but the quality was top notch and when the price ran over, he stuck to his original price. I've never had a stronger fence.

Description of Work: I contacted Dan Tolson of Davis about my proposed bathroom remodel. We made an appointment for him to come to my house to bid on the job on Monday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. When he had not arrived by 4 p.m., I called and he said a member of his crew called in sick and he was trying to finish a job and forgot to look at his calendar. This sounded unprofessional to me, but as my son was also sick that day, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We rescheduled for yesterday, Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 9 a.m. He did not show up or call.

Description of Work: Gutter replacement (part of house)

Description of Work: We had a lot of small jobs that needed to be done including replacing a kitchen faucet and the wax seal on a toilet. When the toilet was removed, Dan discovered extensive water damage to the floor. He was willing to expand his job to include fixing the water problem. In replacing the bathroom floor, I picked tile that he was able to install. Everything Dan did was excellent workmanship. He is a true professional, reasonably priced and I will use him again.
