+ -1 moreWe had Dana Lund Landscaping redo our plain grass backyard into an urban oasis. Working with us closely, they helped us realize our vision. I coudn't be happier or say more good things about everyone we worked with on the team. And they stayed within our budget!
Description of Work: Tear out existing lawn, add plant beds, pathways, fire pit, custom decks, concrete pad for hot tub. The fill the backyard with beautiful plants and flowers for a year-round great look.

Description of Work: We hired Dana and crew to remodel our front yard. I first met with Sal and discussed what we wanted done to the yard. A few days later, the owner (Dana) measured our yard and I received a call about 2 weeks later from Sal that our preliminary plans had been completed. The plans and costs were brought to our house. We made a few minor changes and decided to hire them for the job. We could not be happier with the results. It was a complete gut job. Everything was removed. We replaced all the old shrubs with CA native plants on a drip system, all new irrigation, landscape lighting and a stacked stone wall. They knocked this project out of the park. The crew showed up everyday at 7:00am sharp and worked hard all day. No sub contractors here. All of Dana's crew work for Dana and some have for over 3 decades! They cleaned up each day and the property was spotless when the job was completed. Dana stopped by multiple times to ensure we liked how things were going. When I asked to change out some of the landscaping lighting, it was done. No questions asked. After a sitting area was constructed and we changed our minds, it was removed without question and the sprinkler lines dug up and moved as a result. No corners were cut. Dana and his crew pride themselves on making sure you get exactly what you want. The 1 minor fix I have requested has already been addressed. Again, without question.

+ -1 moreI wasn't looking to create a showplace ~ just something interesting and attractive. On 5/28/15 Sal from their office came to look at my yard. Although she was very nice, she told me that she was a salesperson, NOT a landscaper or even a designer. I thought this was odd and asked when a designer would be out to see the project ~ there are a number of large oak trees and hills around the property, and I could not imagine anyone creating a plan would not need to see the property and take into account the amount of sunlight, slope of the hill, etc.... She told me no one else would come out. She took some photos and measurements and told me it would all be done in the office ~ not exactly the personal touch (lol!). She told me I would hear from them in 3-4 weeks. I was anxious to get the project underway, but I realize this is their busy season. I had been planning on doing this for a number of years, and so a few more weeks didn't matter, especially if they were able to show me some exciting ideas. I never heard from them again.......
Description of Work: As a full-service landscape company, I was hoping to hire them for a complete overhaul on my 1/2 acre yard. This would have included some grading, fencing, hardscape and plantings.

+ -1 moreDANA LUND REALLY IMPRESSED ME. SHE WAS VERY DETAILED IN WHAT SHE THOUGHT WE SHOULD DO TO BEST SHOW CASE THE YARD. SHE WAS VERY FAST TO RETURN ALL CALLS. ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT SHE WAS DOING.
Description of Work: DANA LUND DREW UP PLANS TO LANDSCAPE MY BACK YARD. SHE DID THIS AFTER THE POOL WAS PUT IN. SHE CAME UP WITH A DESIGN THAT SHOW CASED THE POOL, AS WELL AS THE PLANTS.
