The initial process was getting bids from various vendors. When Benchmark came to our house it was like a breath of fresh air. Jason listened to everything we wanted and needed (cabinets, drawers, lights, new paint, removal of upper cabinets to open up the kitchen, electric, install new appliances, water hook-up etc.), took extensive notes, asked questions and gave us some helpful and practical advice since we were keeping to a budget. I received the estimated bid within a couple of days. It was clear, concise & easy to understand. The bid on both the kitchen and bathroom were right on and the final bill was even less then the original bid. Couldn't have been more pleased. Jason, along with his brother Scott closely manage their crews. They paid close attention to details. They responded quickly to any messages and texts and came by everyday to check on the progress of the work. The work went faster and better then anticipated. This is a company who hires professional subs who have excellent communication skills and are very cordial. They are all about 100% customer satisfaction. They clean up neatly everyday and are very mindful not to damage anything in the house. Guest bathroom - this was a full remodel from custom vanities, under mount sinks, title floors, shower doors & trim, including a beautiful mosaic, shower niche, toilet, exhaust vent w/heater, repair, cleaning & walls, paint and so much more. Jason listened to our specific needs, gave us great suggestions and ideas which made the results even better then we expected. He's very good at blending our ideas together. They did an excellent job. Highly recommend Benchmark Construction and will be hiring them again.

I had asked Jason to write up a bid for me that entailed a whole ton of plumbing and shower work. I wanted to remodel my bathroom and do all the tiling and finish work myself. I needed them to paint the landscape, per se, and build me the base for what would be my bathroom. They did an amazing efficient job. Their men were very professional and punctual. They were trustworthy and we I felt comfortable leaving my wife and newborn child at home with them and around all of our belongings. The men even helped my wife move some large objects in the house around that weren't a part of the bid. Overall, their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to work with my budget is why I keep hiring the crew at GAP home repairs. My first encounter with GAP was when I hired them in October of 2012 when I bought my home to completely gut my new home and fully remodel the house. We installed new floors, a brand new kitchen with top end appliances, countertops, new doors and trim throughout the house, new ceiling and light fixtures... you name it. Our total remodel ran us about $75,000. This was a great deal considering the other two bids we had were over $100,000!! They did a great job then and we love our home. Since first meeting them, there have been little things that pop up that need fixing and Jason is always willing to come out himself or send a member of his crew to help fix small repairs. The service never stops. I fully recommend them for any size job you have around your house. A+++++++++ Rating!

All repairs were done to my satisfaction. I was excited to have several accumulated minor repairs done all in the same service call.

I can't believe I got my entire home painted inside in under a week! The crew got here on Monday morning, ready to work. They spent the entire day prepping and masking, then got to painting the next day. By Thursday evening, the entire job was completed with only a couple touch ups to be done on Friday. I would highly recommend Jason and his crew for any projects around the house. I can't wait to get my kitchen done with them next.

Dry rot problem was resolved quickly and very affordable. We are thrilled with the quality of the interior paint. The painters arrived on time, repaired cracks/holes and covered all surfaces to protect from paint. Their attention to detail was remarkable. Very clean straight lines when wall and ceiling paint meet. In fact they hand paint delicate areas for a crisp finish. Work was completed ontime at an affordable price and cleaned up after the job. My husband and I are so pleased with their work we would recommend them to friends and plan on using the handyman service to mount TV's. Expect quick response time, affordable prices and quality work.

I was looking to clean up and update my backyard; Jason came and immediately gave me a bid for work as well as a time-frame that was better than expected. He immediately began preparation and work. Dug out problem shrubs, plants as well as exterior lighting. Prepared yard and delivered and laid decorative cobblestones. He gave a thorough bid and stuck to his pricing, even though the work took a bit longer than expected. After all work was done, he even put together some patio furniture I had just had delivered. Without his help and know how, there's no way I could have put together the furniture with the one tool they sent along with it. Jason is very easy going and approached the project as if it were his own. I didn't feel like I was being sold on something I didn't need. He did such a good job, I'm going to have him come back and bid some interior repairs as well as a fresh coat of paint.
