1. Telephoned, got an immediate response. Set up appointment for the bidding process. 2. Don Smith, owner, was on time and discussed all our needs for heating, AC, venting corrections, need for HEPA type filter, etc. 3. After review of the bid (along with other bids and systems not from Air Design), we decided on the TRANE units and the installation by Air Design. Appointment was made for installation. 4. Air Design - Don and assistant were on time for the appointment. 5. The job was permitted through the Contra Costa County building department. 6. Old system removed, new system installed. Heater was installed on the first day, AC unit on the second day. Attention to detail in all respects was given. 7. Piping, electrical, and tubing was installed or adjusted to make the unit work efficiently OR to clean up the messy job originally done by the house contractor. 8. Don showed us how to clean the filter and how to use the thermostat. Everything was set up and operational. 9. He also checked the venting system for leaks. Our system was well below the allowable limits which means that we had no appreciable leaks in our system. 10. The garage and outside areas were cleaned up, all old equipment removed, and house back to normal. Job took two days. 11. I called for the inspector from the county. The inspection was completed and the system passed with flying colors.
