+ 4 moreJohn Phillips does what he tells you he will do, how much it will cost and then does it. He is both licensed and insured. Having had bad experiences with other contractors, this is such a refreshing experience. He shows up every day and works diligently, keeping you informed on progress/problems. He does the work himself (no strangers showing up) unless he needs another hand or two. Work was completed when expected and within estimate. My only hesitation in recommending John is that he might be harder to schedule for my own projects. We love our finished new space and love working with John Phillips.
Description of Work: Remodeled laundry room with new flooring, walls, closets and moved door. Have used for other projects including a bathroom remodel. He researched products and carefully treated an existing wall to prevent any water intrusion (basement situation), framed new wall, re-worked sub-floor, added new closet, reworked existing closets (shelving), put up dry wall, re-worked lighting, re-worked existing wood ceiling, added a doorway/door, re-worked laundry services, installed ironing board, installed new rubber flooring and painted.
