+ -1 moreI realize this sounds more like an advertisement. I have no affiliation with Walt, except as a client. He is the best. I always contact Walt first. He is a man of his word. On several occasions, Walt has told me that rather than waste the money to keep repairing an appliance, I should have it replaced, and suggest where to go to get the best prices for a replacement. I only wish I could get him to take care of the properties in Marin!
Description of Work: I manage an 18 Unit Apartment Bldg in San Francisco. Walt has been my "go to" guy for at least 10 years. He takes care of the Washer, Dryer, all refrigerators and ranges in the bldg. His prices are fair and his service has always been excellent.

+ -1 moreWalt is the model of professionalism; he returns calls, shows up exactly as promised, and really knows his stuff. When my washing machine broke, he asked me to describe the symptoms over the phone, asked a few more questions, and informed that--based on my description-- he knew what the problem was. He ordered the broken part (turned out it was a relatively cheap component), showed up with it, and had the machine working within 20 minutes. The whole call cost something like $75 total--surprisingly cheap. On the most recent call to fix my Blue Star range, he had me order the ignitors online before he came. He showed up, replaced them in half an hour, charged me $50 and left. This guy is a gem--fair, knowledgeable and responsive.
Description of Work: This is the second time I've used Walt's Appliance (basically a one-man shop run by Walt). The first time, my washing machine was filling with wter and not draining. He emptied the basin and replaced a part.The second visit, he replaced my range's five spark ignitors, which had stopped lighting.

+ -1 moreOverall, Walt is GREAT! No problems with any jobs completed by Walt's Refrigeration and Appliance. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
Description of Work: I have been using Walt's Refrigeration and Appliance for many years, but since moving to Marin County I can't get him to come up this far as he likes to stay in the San Francisco/Peninsula. I wish that weren't so, as I had need of his services recently and he was too busy. When I lived in San Francisco, I owned a multi-unit building and Walt has done several installs for me in addition to repairing the washer and dryer in 2005. He also replaced two water heaters in 2006. Walt is one of the nicest guys you'll ever want to meet. He does a neat, clean and complete job at a very reasonable price.
