I signed a contract with Seames for five replacement windows in July 2015 and gave him a deposit to order the windows, which he said would take until Sept/Oct to get. By Sept I started calling him, asking for a date when he could do the job, but couldn't get a commitment, he was busy with other jobs. Finally by late November I thought I'd visit Ashby Lumber just to make sure he had actually bought the windows and it turns out he never ordered them in the first place. I decided to cancel the contract at that point and by December at least got my deposit back from him. I don't understand what it is with window contractors but I have had the worst luck with now the third contractor in a row, and after a year my jobs are still not done.
Description of Work: I gave Charles Seames money to buy 5 Marvin replacement windows for me to install in my home, and he never ordered them.

Our home was built in 1922 & the room where the repair needed to made was added in 1942. To complicate things even more our house was a flip in 1999 and everything was done as quickly. cheaply and usually as incorrectly as possible. We had Charles look at a corner of the room upstairs because we suspected a leak. He gave us an estimate of 3 to 8 days since their was no way of knowing what was behind the wall until it was removed. His team removed the wall & discovered the problem was the roofing- the flashing was installed incorrectly. On the outside of the house they repaired the one corner that was already leaking & the other side of the window which hadn't started to leak yet but had been installed in the same manner so it was just a matter of time for a new leak. They did their best to get an exact match for our shingles ( they have been discontinued) and you can't even see the repair. They also did a beautiful job in replacing the stucco. On the inside they repaired the dry rot. replaced the dry wall & replaced the frames around both windows so they would match after the repairs. The room looks so much better than when they started. They were right on schedule. Kept us informed of everything that was going on -even had me get up on a ladder to show me what was happening. Their work space is clean (we had someone sleeping in the room that they were working) . They were quiet - sometimes the dogs didn't even know they were here. We will definitely have them back when we are ready to remodel our kitchen.

We purchased the windows and they worked along with another company to install them and did the finish work. They came when they said they would and did everything right on schedule. The work was done well and they cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with them.
Description of Work: I used Sequoia Specific Construction last summer and they installed 8 or 9 double pane windows.

They were fabulous! They were very professional. They came in right on budget. Our house, driveway, and garage were cleaner when they left than when they started. They are very personable and easy to understand. Customer service is very important to them. They are very thorough. He is very conscientious about his work so that customers will reach out to him again in the future for work.
Description of Work: I used Sequoia Pacific Construction to replace two doors and fix one door. The completely removed and re-framed the doors and drywall surrounding the doors. They then re-stuccoed.
