As a home owner when i decided to do a project I was not sure how it was going to go. I found Carlos and team based on the reviews on home advisor and guess what the reviews are legit and so is the service from Carlos and team. It was very easy to schedule the work with Carlos and he quoted me reasonably and advised me on few things as well. Very patient and professional team and very easy to work with. I reached out to do a few touch up’s and Carlos was more than happy to oblige and he even promised to help after we moved in as moves were supposed to do leave some scratches here and there. I was quite happy with Carlos and his team and if you have projects to do I would recommend him so that it’s one thing you don’t have to worry about.Work was quite thorough and very well done. Carlos and his crew were awesome. I lovef the fact that he has women working for him and their knowledge of "what a woman wants in her home decor. They were on time and kept my husband and son abreast of all the time frames. We especially liked the fact that they moved and moved back the heavy furniture all inclusive in the cost. This was truly a stressful situation that was solved with Carlos' professionalism, great customer service and work of quality!!

Mongalos Design was brilliant.I had old varnished stained wood floors that many professionals said were beyond repair.Carlos and his team, including Pablo ,would not leave my flooring project until I felt the results were perfection.They magically made my old floors and home look brand new .Their work was beyond what I could have imagined!

They failed to adequately describe before the job their inability to resolve a patch of rusted nails in the middle of one room. I am now left with a patch of rusted spots marring the overall outcome.

The floors were not refinished to a professional standard. When I pointed out the deficiencies the contractor said he would come out and fix them. He came out a second time and did a worst job. When I told him it was not to professional standards he became belligerent and I asked him to leave the property.

Carlos, the proprietor, broke the first appointment entirely (after we had cleaned out kitchen to point where it was unusable); showed up hours late for the second, and told us repairs were needed that would cost an additional $425. He was to return two days later to do those repairs and finish the job. He showed up hours late again, in the late afternoon, and rushed through the job, with miserable results. He was also shockingly rude to my wife. When I called him on that, he told me that her "bad manners" were my fault because I couldn't control her. He continued rude. He insisted on cash payment, which was never part of the deal--we had a contract that clearly showed credit cards were accepted. Long argument ensued. I got phone call later that evening saying my credit card had been turned down. Impossible, but I gave him another credit card. Also "turned down." Seems it was somehow being called in by someone in South America. No wonder! Next morning, we saw that the job was totally incompetent--stuff stuck in the polyurethane, streaks everywhere, areas missed, etc. We stopped credit card payment and notified company that job was unacceptable. Carlos reappeared and re-did job entirely. Result is marginally acceptable. What was supposed to be a one-day or two-day job caused us to lose the use of our kitchen for five days. Carlos was brutishly rude to my wife right to the end. We've never had an experience like this.

They get right to work and waist no time. Overall they done A good job. They missed the closets however when my wife pointed it out they attended to right away.

Carlos was great at helping us understand our options, He and his team were very friendly and efficient and finished our wood floors in one day with minimal disruption.

The entire Mongalo Team headed by Carlos worked professionally as a unit to sand, stain, seal and polish my kitchen floor. The project was completed right on time as promised. The end result was the transformation of a heavily-traveled, worn-out kitchen floor into a floor that looks as beautiful as it did when I first installed it 15 years ago. I highly recommend Mongalo Designs and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mongalo Designs again. Thank you to the entire Mongalo Team for an effort that surpassed all my expectations for a job well done.

Do not hire this company. They are rude and unprofessional. They doubled the price in the contract they prepared after they worked at my house for a day. Then when i tried to pay the price they quoted, the owner of the company got upset and swore at me in front of my child. TERRIBLE. i had to hire another contractor who was referred to me by a neighbor.

Good customer service. Floor needed some sheen to it and stain was a bit disjointed,

Had to refinish entire floor for 2 water stains. At proposal visit, led to believe they could remove stains. When arrived for job, said stains may not come out. 1 big stain still there. Should know as an expert before they take job if results can be achieved or not. Slopping work. Left varnish brush marks in corners near door openings and did not smooth out. Left their varnish paint can residue on floor in common area. Had to ask them to clean it up.

Honestly this company deserves more than 5 stars. My floors are beautiful, actually it's a work of art. Very professional, A company who's word means something. Thank you Mongalo Design,
