We had Mongalo Designs come in a refinish our hardwood floors. We chose them cause they were the cheapest and say they could do it on our timeline. However in the end I wish we had waited and gone with someone else. They had to come in and redo our floors three times cause they has issues with bubbling, color variation, and just other major quality control issues. They do not appear to hand sand anything and scruffed up a glass wall and several of our baseboards. After the fourth redo we gave up and just are going to have to live with the floors until we can refinish them again.

Mongalo Designs did a great job on my badly water damaged kitchen floor. Carlos came promptly after my call and had the estimate ready quickly. The crew came and worked all day, leaving me with a beautiful new-looking floor. I am very pleased.

Mongalo Designs did a great job on my floors! I would recommend them to anyone. They came and did an estimate the same day I submitted the request, they started the next day and were finished the day after which was so quick. My floors look great, not only the color but almost all of the damage marks are gone without having to replace the boards. Also redid the wood surface of my bay window seats for free since they looked so bad! Service communication was polite and quick, donâ  t have any complaints.

Carlos and his crew did a great job on our floors. We had been concerned about doing just a part of the house and matching to the rest. Carlis assured us he could make it work. And he did! His crew showed up on time, ready to go. They completed on schedule. When we requested an adjustment to our finish, Carlos was able to get it done within a day. Weâ re very happy with the results and with the service. We highly recommend him to our neighbors, friends and family

Carlos and Arianna worked great as a team and totally transformed of my dreary maple floor to a BEAUTIFUL pristine bleached maple floor in just two days as promised. They were professional, courteous, and honest with their work. They advised how to the prep floors to for painting and how to prevent future damage. They even left me some bleach snd urethane for my contractor to match the wood moldings. I highly recommend them!

BIG RED FLAG! Do not be fooled by overall rating of him, instead read his all-negative reviews in detail. I regret I did not but they are all true in my experience. He is not a professional for polyurethane on wood floor. He is the most unprofessional when there is an issue. In our home, he 1) did not do good buffing, 2) left lots of fine dust on floor before coating, 3) spread wood filler all over our hardwood, 4) the first polyurethane coating was total uneven (smearing and brush marks) and was asked to come and do a second coating, 5) excess polyurethane at many places and 6) left polyurethane all over on our just newly painted wood baseboards. His reasons for smearing were because of not given enough drying time (he said it takes up to 7 days). He recommended to polishing with marrons pad and the heat generated by it will help dry polyurethane. We did not agree to it. After the second polyurethane coating, it dried all in 12 hours; this proves his professional judgements were wrong. After reading other negative reviews about his attitude, we made a stop check payment. He is threatening us various ways by email and text to take us to court. Instead of focusing on the issue and try to please customer by good work, we felt he was out for quick bucks. Consider him only if you want to go through his bulling if anything goes wrong.

Carlos and his coworker did a good job ! They are very nice and I called them two times , they come to my house immediately.

Carlos was such a great hire. He did a very good job with the circumstances I presented for him. I bought a home recently where the previous owner had pets who, stained the floors. Carlos was very upfront with and told me what the possible outcome could be. He did a great job on the floors and takes pride in his work. His partner Who was a woman whose name Iâ ll probably spell wrong but she knows who she is (Aryana) was just as hardworking and very focused on doing a great job. Carlos went out of his way help me with a project I was working on that involved measurements. I would definitely recommend these two wonderful people.

Carlos and his team are very good at their job. From the moment we had our consultation up to when they finished the floor, they were incredibly efficient and came through on all they said there were going to do. Carlos was a great communicator, he explained to me in detail what he was going to do and kept me up to date at each stage of the process. I recommend Mongalo Designs Flooring 100%.

I do not recommend to hire this company to refinish your hardwood flooring. Unprofessional work like someone learned it watching and applying that in your home. Please stay away before they damage your flooring and go through all the hassle of contract.
