MC CONSTRUCTION

Owner, Muhamed, was on site almost the entire project. He watched over the project for an estimated 6 months and though ours was one of their smaller projects he was always responsive and attentive. We added a master bathroom and a guest bedroom that required extensive engineering (in Palo Alto) Muhamed agreed to meet with our architect and engineers when we hit a particular snag with inaccurate lot lines on the plans. Despite the problems, Muhamed was ready and willing to provide solutions that kept the project from additional delays. He and his crew paid close attention to details particularly as the project came to the last phase with finishing details. He pointed out small things that we even didn't notice and also corrected them very willingly. MC Construction team were conscientious about keeping the site clean and managed the rubbish removal in a very timely manner All of the subs we worked with thru MC were courteous and prompt. Post project we had a few minor things on our punch list and Muhamed was fast to respond and get the minor problems solved. I would hire MC Construction again and highly recommend!

The job went very well. We asked Mike to build the bookcases in such a way that they looked like they had been built into the original house (built in 1948). I also asked that the bookshelves not bow when all of the books were placed on them. He and his dad worked hard to make this happen and did a fantastic job. They worked consistently and diligently. They cleaned up the space every night and left nothing in the rooms themselves (we had space for the materials in the garage). They brought in a painter who matched our existing paint and left us with extra flooring in case we needed it for something else. It's been two years since the bookcases were built and they still look great. Mike as friendly, professional and creative in finding a solution to our book collector problem!

Mark came over and gave me an estimate. When I contacted him to tell him he had the job we arranged a start date. Mark arrived on time and with materials. He worked quickly and always arrived when he said he would. He was careful about keeping the dust out of my bedroom, where the sliding glass door is installed. He was also good with our dog. The job went smoothly and I would definitely hire him again if I needed more work done.
