+ -1 moreI contracted with this service when my home was purchased nearly two years ago. The company could not advise me over the phone how to add users to the system, but had to send someone out. This person needed help from the office and from an online manual to handle the request. He did not have any idea how to do it himself. Every since I logged onto their website the company has placed me on "no paper statements" and they refuse to send me statements. I pay bills by statements not by looking on the website to see when I owe a bill. When my bill becomes past due because of their billing practices they begin making automated collection calls that are broadcast over my phone system so that anyone in the house can hear it including visitors. I have a very healthy credit rating and do not pay my bills late and NEVER receive collection calls. I have gone thought this with their people three times now and they assure me it is fixed, but IT IS NOT. I finally told them to terminate the service. The advised me I have an early termination fee which I do not intend to pay due to the shoddy service and harassing collection methods. I would not do business with this company again for any reason.
Description of Work: refuses to send out paper bills and then makes harassing collection calls when the bills are late.

Description of Work: Marco came to our new home to activate our current system. He explained to us that our system was a "self contained" system and described the disadvantages of it and showed us how their system was much safer to the home owner. He did not try to oversell or push us. We were able to use our existing window and door contacts, as well as, our motion detectors. They installed the new system that same week.

+ -1 morePROTECTION ONE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. THE TECHNICIAN THAT WORKED ON OUR HOME WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WAS ALSO ABLE TO MAKE SOME SUGGESTIONS ON OUR ALARM SUGGESTION.
Description of Work: PROTECTION ONE INSTALLED OUR HOME ALARM SYSTEM THROUGHOUT. THEY ALSO INSTALLED INDOOR MOTION MONITORS.
