RAPID PLUMBING

These people are scammers. Quoted $55k to replace the pipes in the house and insurance declined. Then quoted $18k to locate leak and repair by tearing up floors and walls. Insurance approved $12k and we were on the hook for $6k. They came out to detect the areas for the leak. The day they came out to start destroying our house we asked a friend for advice. The friend found the leak and repaired it for less than $200.00 in parts. RP was told not to come back and we reported them to the insurance company.

Total scammer company. Ridiculous estimates and only interested in your signature on a BS work order, which they'll then hound you for payment over. Avoid at all costs.

Beware of this company!! They 100% tried to rip me off. I had a blocked sink drain and they came to check and said I needed to replace the cast iron piping with ABS, it was not much piping and easy to access, they quoted me $2800 to do it. It immediately sent alarms bells ringing as the piping was in the garage, not under ground and it was easy to access. I called in another plumber who came in and did it after hours, 1 person in under 3 hrs, and the total price including parts came to $480 (After Hours) If anyone has been ripped off by this company, I think there is a good argument to get your money back.

They were good. They were professional. They knew what they were doing. The boss was friendly. They did the job very quickly. They brought in about 10 people to complete the work. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

Brian Marchand arrived very quickly. He diagnosed the problem left to get parts and returned promptly. It was a bigger job than anticipated, but he fixed it very efficiently and we are in working order. He left at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. We were very pleased with his work and he was a very pleasant young man.

THEY WERE OKAY. I CAN'T SAY MUCH BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DO MUCH. THEY CAME IN AND SHUT OFF THE STREET WATER BECAUSE IT WAS LEAKING. IT WAS COMING FROM THE MAIN STREET. WATER WAS COMING INTO OUR HOUSE, BUT WE FOUND OUT THERE ARE A COUPLE OF OTHER PIPES CONTRIBUTING SO IT WASN'T WHAT THEY SAID IT WAS. IT WASN'T WHERE THEY SAID IT WAS BUSTED. IT WAS MIS-DIAGNOSED.

MY DAD IS ALWAYS CONVINCED THAT IT IS TREE ROOTS, BUT THE GUY TOLD US THAT IT COULDN'T BE THE TREE ROOTS. HE DIDN'T LIE TO US LIKE OTHER PLUMBERS DO. HE TOLD US THAT THE PIPES ARE PROTECTED BY A WALL AND THAT IT'S JUST SLUDGE BUILD UP.

I WAS VERY UNHAPPY BECAUSE THE COMPANY THAT DID THE WORK WOULD NOT ITEMIZE THE BILL FOR INSURANCE REASONS. WE TRIED VERY HARD TO GET THEM TO ITEMIZE THE BILL. THE WORK TOOK ABOUT NINE HOURS TO DO. HE HAD TO STOP AND GO TO GET PARTS AND SUPPLIES SEVERAL TIMES AS IF HE WAS NOT PREPARED FOR DOING THE JOB.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. THE PRICE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE COMPETITIVE. THE COMPANY WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. I DID NOT LIKE THE SERVICE ENOUGH TO HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THE PRICE WAS HIGH. WE HAVE USED THEM BEFORE, THEY ARE ONE OF THE ONLY PLUMBERS WE USE. THEY HAVE ALL THE EQUIPMENT THAT THEY NEED. THEY ARE PROMPT. THEY GET IN, GET THE JOB DONE, AND GET OUT.
