Called Juan and left a message on his voicemail. He called me back later that day and scheduled an estimate. By far, the most reasonable estimate for the project out of the others I called (also found through angie's). We set up a time and he was very punctual, arriving early in the morning with his crew spending the entire day there. Very professional and hard working. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for roof repair.

Mr. Estrada gave us a detailed estimate on price and work to be performed. His crew showed up on time and worked efficiently and were consistent in their efforts. They were all polite, efficient and very concerned about leaving the work site clean each day. Juan's crew completed the job a little ahead of the estimated time for the job. It was a large project and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. We would highly recommend Mr. Estrada to any of our friends as a competent, polite professional. We have him our highest recommendation and are grateful that we joined Angie's List for this very reason. We have other construction projects in the future and will only use someone recommended with high ratings from Angie's List. Mr. Estrada gets and A+ from us.

I've been waiting to post this review as one only knows about a roof in the event of rain. And thus far, we've had a relatively dry winter. With that out in front . . . The job went fine. Mr. Estrada and his crew were punctual, efficient, and clean. The showed up timely every day, and cleaned up reasonably every day. Most of the crew was Spanish-speaking, but there were always at least 2 people (including the lead man) who spoke English. Therefore, no communications problems. There was one oversight, one gutter that didn't get replaced. When I called Mr. Estrada to tell him, he was out there promptly to get it back up. In a day and age when consumers almost expect problems and difficulties, this was a smooth job. I would use Mr. Estrada's services again.

It went wonderful. They gave me a senior discount. They were courtious clean. Theycleaned up as they worked. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them to anybody. They were very profession. They work very fast.

Punctual both in coming for the estimate and in starting the work. Repaired the area which was leaking and, without my asking for it, sealed several areas which looked like they might have later problems. I was delighted with Mr Estrada's work.

Juan was very prompt getting to me for an estimate and scheduling the work. It was a quick job for him, with one assistant, and they were clean and professional. I hadn't had roofing done before, so I don't know how fair the price was, but $400 seemed fair for someone who was ~50x more confident that I cutting a hole in my roof and guaranteeing that it wouldn't leak or fail.

Back in December we had some particularly bad winds one night and a section along the ridge of our roof got blown off. I called three roofing companies, all selected from Angie's List with a large number of reports and "A" ratings. The first one would not send out an estimator for over three weeks. The second one said they would send someone out the next day and I never heard from them again. What a difference Mr. Estrada and his company was. They promptly came out the next day and gave an estimate on patching the roof. They patched the roof the next day so that the roof would be repaired before any bad weather that might cause the roof to leak. I was so impressed with their service, I asked Mr. Estrada for an estimate on replacing the entire roof since we had planned on replacing the roof in the next few months. Mr. Estrada explained our options and what he thought would be the best one for our house. Three weeks later, Mr. Estrada and his company came out and replaced the roof on our house, detached garage, and upgraded the roof's ventilation system with new dormer vents for both structures. We did not have to remove our rain gutters and they were careful not to damage them. The job was completed in two days. All of the workers were courteous and each day the work area was cleaned up. I would definitely use them again.

Juan came out to do a estimate of my roof repair. He actually went on top of the roof to check it out where as the other company did not. Juan gave me a estimate once he completed the survey of the roof. I had explain to him tile was falling from the roof to the ground and the possible accidents that could happen if I had not taken care of it. His company was ready to start doing the work as soon as the next day. He explain to me who would be coming out to do the job and how long it should possibly take to complete the job. That following Monday they were there as stated and completed on time. Juan came with the men to show and explain what needed to be done. The two men were very professional and polite. I have already referred them to others.

Called them, they came by 4 days later and provided an estimate and offered to do the job the next day.....fantastic service!!

Initially, I sent an email to the vendor about December 1st. No response. Later, I called the number provided--still no response. I called the number provided several times with no response. Finally, I received a call from Juan. I can't remember the explanation for no respones. However, he gave me his cell phone and thereafter, everything went very smoothly. He showed up early for the estimate. After inspection and measurements, he provided me with a detailed estimate for a complete roof re-do and after inspection told me that I had about 1-3 years left with my existing roof. Later, I accepted his estimate to do the repairs. He showed up promptly and completed the work in a couple of hours on a Saturday morning for the estimated price. I gave this vendor an "A" for overall experience because after connection made, everything went well. I would recommend that the vendor check voicemails frequently or better yet to use his cell phone on Angie's list for more immediate contact. If vendor continues to be an email vendor, he should carry a smart phone to have his emails forwarded to him while he is in the field.

Juan came by right away, and he completed the service the very next day. He confirmed the reason for our leaks was bad flashing, and he identified several more areas (including a large area around the chimney) that were to blame. Three of his staff came by and worked quickly, about 4 hours to do the service. Confirmed that the flashing wasn't nailed down or properly installed, and did all the needed repairs. I'm very happy with the promptness and thoroughness (though there have been no big rainstorms yet!) These guys really know what they're doing.

He was very prompt in coming. The service he gave us was what he promised. The staff was professional and did the job right.

The price was reasonable and they were professional and punctual. They did an excellent job and their pricing was mid-range. I will use them again in the future.

I called a couple of roofers but settled on Juan at JC Estrada because I liked talking to the owner of the company and had a good feeling about Juan. When he came out for the estimate, he climbed on the roof to determine it's overall structural integrity. At that point he told me the roof was in good condition, but had two old layers of shingle that would need to come off. There was also a flat section of roof which Juan told me would have to be tared and torched down as just shingle alone would not suffice...he even knew where some of the leaks were coming from just by looking at the roof. The following Monday, Juan sent me an email estimate based on our conversation. Since I had other projects going on, I postponed the roof job for a couple of months then called Juan to come by again to discuss in greater detail the job. My concern was his ability to place a dimensional, architectural shingle....if not done correctly, the roof could have a "zig zag" look. I also wanted to know if he would be painting the vents to match the roof and what materials he intended to use. We firmed up the details, Juan sent me a revised estimate, and scheduled a start date. His crew came in and worked steadily until the job was completed. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. There was a very small amount of rotted wood replaced which was done at the cost of material. The job came with a ten year warranty. FYI: When I called Juan, I had done my research and pretty much knew what I wanted (Presidential TL Shingle) and communicated this to Juan. With JC Estrada, you will not be getting a "show room" experience or a sales treatment, so I would advise that you have a fairly good idea of what you want for the best results.

The whole job took two weeks, excluding Sundays. Workers were well organized for each stage of the job. Plants and windows were protected, debris was removed promptly, and clean-up was done conscientiously at the end of each day. A lot of plywood had to be replaced due to damage, which lengthened the job beyond what the contractor had estimated. Also the contractor had failed to note a small section of roof in the rear of the house in making his estimate; but he honored his estimate in completing the job, and we saw no sign of his cutting corners. One small section of the roof was not done to our liking, which we called to his attention, and he made changes to our satisfaction. Overall we are very pleased with his work and believe we got a quality job.

My experience was very satisfying. They gave appropriate proposal, scheduled the job pretty quickly and completed the job when they said they would. During the process, he discovered that I needed 3 new vent caps, which was not included in the estimate. He charged an additional $150 to replace them, which I thought was very reasonable. After he was finished, I realized that I forgot to ask him about installing an attic fan. I wished he would have offered it because I could have saved by doing it at the time of the re-roof, but I guess I should be thankful that he was not the type of roofer that tries to get you to purchase a bunch of extra stuff. After the job was complete, my tenants complained that they left a lot of debri on the upper window sills. When I called the company, he sent someone out immediately to clean the debri. Overall I am very pleased with this company and would recommend them. Their price was reasonable, they completed the job when they said they would, and when there was a problem, they responded QUICKLY.

Juan Estrada was wonderful to work with! He showed up early for both the estimate and the actual work on the roof. He was honest, priced competitively and very thorough. He was available by phone and easy to contact before, during and after he completed the work. He also left the property cleaner than it was before he did the work! He went above and beyond in providing great service! I highly recommend him and will call him again in the future should I need any roofing work done.

What a MESS! The Estrada crew did a very good job of cleaning up the seemingly endless debris each day. The crew was respectful and efficient. The job was done as scheduled. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks to Mr. Juan Estrada, Santiago and the crew!

GREAT! Mr Estrada was punctual for our appointment. I was expecting to have to replace our roof so was very relived to find out we only needed some maintence repairs. I set up an appointment for the following week to have the repairs done. Mr Estrada and his foreman were PUNCTUAL!It took about six hours for the work to be done. His workers were very professional and cleaned everything up!!!!!! I was told to make sure I keep my gutters clean and to call them in two years for another maintence. I was told my roof should last another 5 years! My home is 62 years old and have had to have many repairs done> I wish I could say that the rest were has professional as Mr Estrada.

Juan came out to give me an estimate on a Thursday morning. He was on time and was able to prep the detailed estimate in his truck while I waited. We had gotten an estimate from another company highly recommended on Angie's List, and Juan's estimate was half as much! Much to my surprise, they were able to come out and do the work that Saturday. The two guys who actually made the repairs were courteous and did a great job. I was nervous about all the debris falling into my garden, but not a single plant was injured. The clean up job was thorough. Overall, it was a great experience, highly recommended.

THey came quickly, gave us a fair estimate, did great work and stuck within the budget. THey were super nice and helpful. I am so glad to find a roofer I can trust!

Juan gave me a fixed price contract. He showed up early and completed the job within one week - which was great considering that it rained one whole day. They did a great job of leaving the work site clean and orderly every night and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the job. I recommend him.

Overall all went according to plan, had to make slight change at the end, but done to satisfaction.
