From December 28th 2012 to March 14 2013, there is a tread of about 17 e-mails that were exchange back and forth, between you and Homero Hardwood Floors Inc., discussing the details of the prospecting job. On Fri, Dec 28, 2012 at 2:35 PM a FREE estimate was sent to you via e-mail. From there on, your inquires about the prospecting job were answered even though there were no warranties you would select Homero Hardwood Floor Inc. as your flooring contractor. Furthermore, according to Mr. Ramos, the person who inspected the job site, you were provided with the phone number of a building contractor to help you out with work your general contractor did not want to do. On Fri, Dec 28, 2012 at 3:01PM, You replied back saying you wanted to use the Garrison plus Cognac wood and if the quote included baseboard installation. On Wed, Jan 2, 2013 at 10:21AM, Homero Hardwood Floors Inc. replied by saying Mr. Ramos had the samples you requested. These were the Maple Espresso and Maple Black and you were asked if you wanted a quote based on these samples. According to Mr. Ramos, you requested to see more samples besides the Garrison Plus Maple Cognac. Furthermore, you were told the proposal did not include baseboard installation, but it could be done for $1 per sq. ft. plus materials. Minutes later on Wed, Jan 2, at 10:26 AM, You sent an e-mail saying you would like to see the samples, and asking if Mr. Ramos would recommend that wood, or if you should stick to Garrison. Wed, Jan 2, 2013 at 10:56 AM, An e-mail was sent letting you know that the samples you requested were at the shop and you were asked if you wanted to drop by to take a look at these samples. Also, you were informed that Mr. Ramos preferred to recommend you the Garrison because of a thicker wood veneer. On Thu, Jan 24, 2013 at 2:28 PM, You sent an e-mail asking for a quote on Maple Cognac and saying you got a quote from a different flooring contractor for about the same price, but this quote included base boards. Several minutes later on Tues, Jan 29, 2013 at 2:53PM, You sent an e-mail saying you had quote for $8 per sq. ft. and you were asking if Mr. Ramos could match the quote. At the end of the day, Tues, Jan 29, 2013 at 5:12PM, An e-mail was sent informing you Mr. Ramos could not match the $8 per sq. ft. quote. Furthermore, you were informed that you have gotten a very good price and to make sure you were actually getting the work that you had originally requested. Does the $1 per sq. ft. include the installation of the base board?” On Sun, Mar 3, 2013 at 6:51PM, You sent an e-mail asking for an updated proposal with Maple Cognac and MDF base board moulding-328MUL 9/16x5 ¼ (Ultra lite Colonial Base) On Wed, Mar 12, 2013 at 6:06PM, You got an e-mail from informing you the Maple Cognac was a little bit more expensive than the Maple Espresso, but the job could be done for the same price you were quoted before, and it would include the Maple Cognac. You were also informed baseboard installation could be done for $1 per linear ft. plus materials. You replied back on Wed, Mar 13 at 11:14AM asking what the total cost would be including MDF baseboard molding (328MUL 9/16 x 5 ¼ Ultra lite Colonial Base) The next day Thu, Mar 13, 11:14AM, You were informed the total cost including baseboard installation could not be provided because the total quantity linear feet of baseboard was not available. However, you were informed that baseboard installation could be done for $1 per linear feet plus materials, and the price for the type of baseboard, in this case the Ultra lite Colonial Baseboard, was about $1.50 per linear ft. Based on these e-mails, we feel we provided you with enough information for you to make a decision. This info allowed you compare quotes from different flooring contractors as to get the lowest price possible for the type of work you were requesting. Furthermore, the day this review was posted, we sent you an e-mail offering you to do the job for the same amount regardless of the fact that the Maple Cognac is more expensive than the Maple Espresso. A day after the posting of your review, we still attended your questions about the prospective job. In conclusion, we offered you a FREE estimate and FREE consultations without any warranty you would select us as your flooring contractor.
