It was good, except the direction of the one knob to turn on a hot water was set opposite side.

When I first got the company name from Angie's List I called them on a weekend which they have 24/7 service and Riley came out on a Sunday. They used cameras and found things I was not aware of that needed to be done. They are professional and do a good job. I will highly recommend and continue to use them.

Scottie got to or house within an hour of our call on a Saturday morning for the weekend rate. did a thorough check of the area inside, outside, and under the house and was able to locate the issue, which was our dishwasher. We will go forward with an appliance specialist. Scottie was great - helpful and informative. Would definitely use again!

Scotty was very friendly and professional. He fixed the issue within 10 minutes and even showed me how he fixed it. He explained everything in detail and it made perfect sense. He then waited with me to make sure that everything still worked properly. I'm a new home owner so he did a lot to put me at ease. I'll definitely be using him with any plumbing issues I have in the future!

I had a question about our tankless water heater installation and they were happy to come out and answer my questions. I’ve used them many times before and have never been disappointed!

The plumber replaced the cartridge. After that, the valve was leaking a lot. He said that it was caused by debris inside the valve and the pipes needed a flushing (additional services) and it may happen that we needed to replace the whole valve if the flushing didn't work. We were worried, so we called another plumber (from a different company), who opened the valve and said that there was no problem with the valve and that the valve was missing a part. He came again with the part, installed it and now the valve works just fine.

Just great. Scotty showed up within the given timeframe. He was fast, informative neat, and a nice guy on top of it. I've been looking for a plumber I knew and could trust for a long time and I believe I found one today. Also, Ginger on the phone really knew here stuff. I called Ford's since I had a drip coming from my ceiling and was leaving town the next morning, so I wanted to address it. It was a Saturday in the late afternoon, so I called a plumber with emergency service. Made an appointment for Scotty to come to my house at 5pm. He showed up on time and was very clear about the charges. $199 for the visit (since it's "after-hours" -- they told me that when I made the appointment), and then it would be $300/hr for any work performed. He explained everything and gave me his best guess at what was going on. I decided to have him open the ceiling and, when he cut the drywall and ripped a piece off, about a gallon or more of water spilled onto the floor. Good thing we did it. The leak wasn't what he originally thought, but we identified it as the refrigerator and turned off the water to the ice maker. I will have the ice maker repaired and the valve replaced. I have a lot more work to do but am thankful that I got the problem resolved in a timely manner and there won't be further damage. The only reason I gave a "B" on price is because $500 seems a bit steep for the time Scotty was there. But, both he and the company were very clear about he charges, and I elected to go ahead, so I'm not complaining. But just wanted to explain the "B". All in all, top quality, honest service that I would recommend to anyone. Thanks Scotty.

Scottie showed up punctually, he made an assessment, tried to fix the problem with the least expensive solution but was honest when this did not work. So he came back with his bigger guns and completely fixed the problem. We hired them again for a minor issue with the shower as well. They are very professional and very knowledgeable.

We called Ford's Plumbing and Heating for help with clearing a blocked kitchen sink. It was on a holiday weekend, and so we used their emergency service which was very prompt and referred me to one of their service providers, Scotty who informed me that an off-hours visit would cost $199, but that this would probably cover the cost of clearing the block. I was initially hesitant as I've been burned by service estimates coming in lower than the actual cost, but in this case it was spot on. Scotty came within a few hours of my call, and immediately sized up the problem (a blockade in the main drain line, not the sink itself), and cleared the block. As he had stated, $199 covered it all, so I am very satisfied with his service. Scottty was also very professional and friendly, and took the time to explain why our blockage may have occurred and offered suggestions for how to prevent a recurrence. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend Ford to others. An additional note: Ford provides a coupon on Angie's list for 20% off service, but when I asked about this, they informed me that it did not apply to emergency/after hours calls. I unsuccessfully challenged them on this point as the coupon did not make any mention of this exclusion, and asked that they add a clear statement of this policy on their coupon page so that others are aware before calling.

I was offered $89 promo to fix my drain. When they arrive the price they charge was for $129. They sneaked in to the drain. The drain was so badly clogged that they had to to break in to the drywall to repair it. They broke in to the wall and worked about 15 mins and said they took out some piping. Discovered that the piping was also clogged and they said the plumbing was too deep and asked for $660 to fix that. I got very uncomfortable. I did not know that I want to go though with it. They proceeded to very in dept investigation.They got under the house, checked the lines and then proceeded to tell me that it will be additional $2200 to fix the rest of it. I told them to stop the work. My regular plumber called and told me that he could come down. He arrived within an hour and diagnosed the problem and found out that the research that Ford's Plumbing did was all wrong. It was a nasty experience. Ford's Plumbing sent 2 men to do the job and my plumber was just one and within 3 labor hours he finished the whole job.

All went very well. I was given very good price. Since this was replacement of a unit Ford had installed, they did both a good price and extra effort.

It was excellent. And also, the price was very fair.

Woke up to a cold shower on a very cold morning. Was able to leave a message and have someone call back right away. Although, it was last minute, it was not an "emergency." They replaced the hose on our water heater and we are back in business. Simple and no hassle--that's what this transaction was; and I will use Ford's again.

The first time they tried to fix the low water pressure in my kitchen faucet they said I needed a new filter cartridge and I should get it from Delta and call them back. I then contacted Delta who asked me if the plumber had flushed the lines. I said no. I called Ford's Plumbing back and they came over a 2nd time to flush the lines at no cost to me. It didn't work, so I waited till I received a new cartridge. After the cartridge arrived I called a different plumber to install it since Ford's wanted $185 to install it. The second plumber found the aerator was clogged and fixed the problem in five minutes without installing the new cartridge. Ford's should have been able to do this the first time.

Riley, the technician arrived promptly within the time that was quoted and immediately went to work in troubleshooting the source of the problems. Within minutes, he was able to identify the problems and make recommendations to resolve the issues and got straight to work. He was very professional and was aware of the condition of our original pipes as not to create more issues. Overall, he did a great job! I will definitely be calling Fords Plumbing and Heating in the future to meet and solve all our needs!

I initially spoke with Ginger who was very polite and accommodating. She said I was in luck because she had a tech in the area who could come to my house within a couple of hours. Ryan arrived right on time and was thorough and professional. Overall great experience and will definitively use this company for all of my plumbing and heating issues moving forward. They gave an fair estimate before any work was done (and when i booked the appointment the woman even told me to use the Angie's List coupon to save 20%). Although the pipes and garbage disposal did need to be replaced, they found that the clog was actually a building plumbing issues and they recommended that we call our HOA (instead of charging us extra to snake the building drain). And they cleaning up after themselves after fixing the issue so there wasn't any water or grime anywhere in our kitchen (unlike other plumbers we've used). I was especially impressed that Ginger at the front desk called me a few days after the service to check in and make sure everything was good. They went above and beyond. I appreciated that a lot.

Within minutes they traced the leak to a hose on my waterheater. They replaced the hose quickly and tested my water pressure... I will continue to keep using fords.
