Description of Work: It was great! I’ve used Ford’s before, and the same plumber (Reilly) came out this time. He got right to work and fixed up my struggling toilet. Same great service as last time, but on a different toilet. If I have any more plumbing issues, I’m calling Ford’s. 5 stars!

Description of Work: On time, efficient and professional. That's what I look want and that is what I got.

Description of Work: I scheduled this provider for service and was told they would show up within a 2 hour window. The company took 3 hours and never called to inform me that they would be late, i had to call. The job was to replace some of my pipes & the tech asked me if i had the parts to replace them. I'm not a plumber, how was i supposed to know to have the parts? I will say this company was open to the complaints i had due to their unsatisfactory performance.

Description of Work: I had used Ford plumbing in the past for a clogged disposal and was extremely happy with them. Therefore I was confident in calling them to install a water line for a new fridge. Not so much. We arranged for a plumber to arrive at a certain time, and I was told I'd get a general estimate by email. It never arrived. On the day the plumber was supposed to come a tech showed up to give an estimate only. Sigh. The estimate was wildly high, even according to the tech. He claimed there were a few ways to do this, but his boss insisted they do it "the right way," which was expensive. He said he wouldn't do it that way, and he suggested not using Ford and instead calling a handyman to do it the other way. He also told me that a plumber can only do work over $500 and a handyman can do work under $500. Well, true about the handyman, but my Ford bill before was about $120. Does this guy's boss know what he's saying to customers? He also spoke very techy and I had to keep asking him to explain what he was saying, reminding him that I wasn't a plumber. Not good customer service. Needless to say, I will not be hiring Ford to install my water line for $700. Btw, this is not an isolated experience. My friend got the exact song and dance and received an estimate for ~ $600 to install a new fixture on her sink from this same guy. Ford, is this guy rogue or has your business changed??! What a shame.

Description of Work: Ford's replaced all lines under house and conduit line to main line. Main line from house to street did not need to be replaced. | |Contractor was attentive and conscientious about being on time and doing the work swiftly. It did seem that we'd agree to repair one thing and then they'd find something else that would need to be fixed. Whether a more thorough assessment of the issue at outset could have prevented that, I don't know. To be fair, some times things aren't discovered until you're in the middle but the price kept going up and up as the job progressed. I'm not great with surprises like that although the end price for the work felt generally fair. | |The work was done well and completely. I followed up on a few minor items and they returned and finished them without issue - even after they were paid. I would recommend Ford's without hesitation. | |One piece of advice - major work such as this is offered with a 5 year warranty by Ford's on the work. That warranty is put on the invoice only if you specifically ask for it from what I can tell. I had to call more than once to get that in writing on the final invoice (and not just in the technician's own handwriting). Good thing to know up front and ask for it.
