Called early in the morning about a drain backup. A plumber arrived within the hour and cleared my disposal/drain and everything was working great. Thanks!

They did a fantastic job, from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to others and I will be using them again soon.

I live an hour and a half drive away from a rental property I own and used Angie's to find a plumber on a Holiday weekend to unplug my tenant's drainline. Ford's reponded quickly and completed the work in a timely manner. My tenant's were happy and the price was fair.

Everything went very well. I ended up having to use another contractor to fix the problem again however. I don't think it was any fault of their's however.

Ford's plumbing did a great job throughout the project. We had a very old furnace that needed replacing. They removed all the old parts and installed a new furnace that works great. We also had them help us in our laundry room with a new gas line and replace a dryer vent and other plumbing issues in the kitchen and bathroom. They were very friendly and helpful during the entire process and will be using them to complete the rest of our plumbing upgrades and repairs.

Joe came out on short notice (this was two hours before a big party on a weekend) and were really awesome. Very pleasant to work with.

I just signed on to Angie's list today and this was my first experience using one of their references. Looking at the A level recommendations on Angie's list, I emailed two plumbing companies regarding a backed up toilet, and Ford's plumbing called me back within 15 minutes. They promised to have someone at my door to deal with a clogging problem within an hour-----and just as they said----their serviceman was at my door. Their serviceman, Bruce Reilly, was courteous, professional, and solved my problem quickly---and even offered up advice on how to perhaps having to avoid calling a plumber in the future by offering a way to solve the problem. Would I call Fords plumbing back again? Absolutely.

The plumber, although late, was courteous and clean, which I really appreciate. The price was fair. And, he cleaned up after himself. I would give an overall rating of an A.

I was out of town and our care taker called them because they were having trouble getting hot water. Riley came over and he was great. He took out our water heater that wasn't working and installed a tankless water heater. He came back and checked it, we had 1 or 2 instances when it was malfunctioning after he installed it. He came back right away and figured it out and came back to check on it a few more times after that to make sure we were happy. It's been great ever since.

Their price was medium to high but they did pretty good work, so I am okay with it. They were very prompt and they were clean. When they left the house, it looked like they didn’t do any work or stuff like that, so it was good. I would use them again in the future.

On the appointed day and time, 2 workers arrived. One was the man that had accompanied Robert, the other was unknown to us. Both were appropriately dressed, spoke pleasantly with us, did a show and tell walk through about the work they planned to do, and got our ok. Everything went well, overall. The work was performed with a minimum of disruption to our routine. I checked progress regularly, but not too often. Both plumbers were pleasant and talked freely about what they were doing / had done. The work could not be completed in one day, and the weekend intervened. As the hot water at the sink was not working as expected, we called to ask if there was something we did not understand. Robert answered the phone, and insisted on having one of his workers come to our house and help us. The worker, it turns out, lives only a couple of streets away, and arrived in a couple of minutes. He did some work, and we had hot water. On Monday morning, the workers showed up as scheduled and completed the work. Satisfactory all around.

In terms of my experience with Ford's, I found them to be professional and punctual. They communicated with me when they had to deviate from the original plan, keeping me apprised of any changes or concerns. My reason for any downgrade in rating is due to 2 elements: I hindsight, I now know the work could have been done for less money. But I again mention my need for speed so I didn't have time to bid this like I should have. The second reason for the downgrade is that I found out later that it was not necessary to tear up the concrete like they did. A portion of the concrete that was torn up was a pathway, maybe 3 feet wide. Other vendors have told me that it would have been possible to dig a hole under the path and run the pipe under the path without cutting the concrete. It was just an added expense for me because I had to have someone come to repair the holes in the concrete. (Not Ford's, by the way, they only tear up the concrete, they don't fix it.) Overall, I'd recommend them for their work habits and professionalism. But I would suggest getting multiple bids before securing them on a job.

They do a wonderful job and take care of some of my clients’ homes. They are wonderful, and I really love the owner, Robert, because he gets involved, and I like that. If there is something that I need information on, and one of the guys doesn’t know, I call the owner, and he is always there. I like talking to the owner regarding quotes and what they are going to do to make my clients happy. He is always available. I am going to probably use them again because I have more stuff in escrow.

I was not there when they actually did the work but according to my conversation with them they seemed very knowledgeable, timely and interested in doing high quality work efficiently. Their price seemed good as well. I was very happy with them. They did an excellent job and have no problem with them. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

I would recommend them. They ended up being the highest bid, but they were very reasonable. They were professional, prompt, and helpful. The people who came out were very competent. They knew what they were doing and were organized.

OK, guy got here on time, arrived back with the water heater later than promised, installation went fine. Plumber was professional.

Two workers arrived and one got to work cleaning out clogged kitchen drain. Thin pipe had also broken and needed to be replaced. The second worker had nothing to do and I found him crawling under the house inspecting the rest of the house pipes. This guy moved boxes out of the way to access under the house, didn't bother to put them back, and informed me the house had old pipes and gave a description of what would happen in the future when they failed, and wouldn't I like to spend $900 replacing all those pipes also. I declined. The worker in the house finished replacing thin connector and sink pipe - replacement pipe was thinner and poorer quality that what I originally had, and I noticed they took that original piece with them along with the broken connector. Two workers were here for about 45 minutes at a cost of more than $300 - meaning I paid either $300 an hour for the guy who actually did any work - or $150 and hour for him, and $150+/ hr for some kid to go under my house without permission and give me an estimate for replacing pipes - which were working and unrelated to the issue at hand. Either way I told them it was expensive - which the kid replied that "we are very good at what we do". Well, they certainly are good at overcharging and going for short term gain over earning a long term customer. I won't be using them ever again.

It was a fine experience. The work was done correctly. They are kind of expensive, but I have no complaints about the quality of work or timeliness. The workers were punctual, neat, clean, and presented themselves well.

He has installed a toilet for me as well as unclogged a sink. I had him out a separate time to check for a gas leak, 3 trips total. He is very clean and quick. The price was very reasonable too. I liked that he has been in business for many years! I have had no problems whatsoever with him or any of his jobs. He shows up on time too.

I have used Ford?s Plumbing to install drain pipes, drain/sewer cleaning, gas leak repair, install bath/kitchen fixtures and water heaters. They have also worked on a heating unit for me. They have pretty much done anything involving plumbing and heating for me. They are top notch! Thanks, Barbra Stover

I should really say what didn't they do for me around here. I think they have done about every type of plumbing job for me. I have just used them so many times. They do excellent work. They are nice and friendly people. The water heater they put in works great.

Ford worked on my electricity and they did a very good job. The pricing was very good to me. I actually have an insurance coverage program that they recommended for me, so that is why I hired them. I ended up only having to pay $35 dollars because of the coverage plan. I thought that was great.
