Ford's Plumbing and Heating

The Invoice above was the most recent and easiest for me to isolate for a job to price concept. We first called Fords on the middle of a disaster in March of 2014. They have done many jobs for us and each one has been done well. They have handled everything from valve replacements, angle stops, installation of shut off valves to repipe (OLD building), fixed poorly done plumbing jobs, water heater fixes and leaking pipe repairs. They are easy to reach and professional. The only downside we have ever experienced is that at times there seems to be a disconnect in scheduling and the guys in the field. I recall one job where the office seemed unaware of all the parts the tech needed and there was some confusion regarding timing. But all and all WE KEEP CALLING THEM! I just called them again today and as always they are very nice on the phone!

I am so impressed by Reilly and Ford's Plumbing. Everything was handled so professionally, from the scheduling to the day-to-day work- they were a breeze to deal with. Every job they have ever done for me, whether big or small, was handled with a high level of care, attention to detail and cleanliness. Everyone who I have ever dealt with at Ford's has been wonderful, but Reilly really goes above and beyond to make sure every aspect of the job is done perfectly.

We did not have a plumbing service, yet. I WILL ALWAYS CHECK A CONTRACTORS LICENSE, IF AVAILABLE.

The ten minute drive down to Home Depot and back and less then ten minutes to replace the spigots were worth it. Which are working fine. I want to thank Reilly for being upfront with me. It's that kind of professionalism and honesty that are hard to come by. I would definitely use them again!

They were on time, did a great job and made it so I didn't have to worry about a relapse. Very satisfied.

Ford's gave us a two hour window. We stayed home from work for them. 30 minutes before the end of that time window they called and said the tech was running late and that he'd be 30 minutes late. Not great, but not the end of the world. I said sure, no problem, we are waiting for him. 30 minutes later Ford's called to say the tech was not done at his previous job site and that he was all the way on the other side of town and wasn't sure when he would be at our house. At that point I cancelled the appointment. Running late happens, but booking a plumber who is running late, super far from my house because they sent him to a job on the other side of town and then is unsure when he can make it to me, well, that's unacceptable. Hiring a plumber on Angie's list shouldn't mean staying home from work all day until he finally shows up. Wasted a day on this.

I am very impressed by this company. I was in a panic because I had houseguests arriving the next day. They sent a technician out to me within hours of my phone call -- and exactly on time -- a few days before Christmas. After a very thorough inspection, the wonderful plumber (unfortunately can't remember his name) reported that only one sink had any problems and he'd already fixed it! It turned out to be a poorly adjusted plunger was keeping water in the sink, not any actual problem with my pipes. He could easily have puttered around for ages and then charged me a lot, i would never have been the wiser. But he refused to take any money at all because the problem had been so very minor. Wow. No doubt in my mind who I will be calling/recommending.

The plumber was clean, knowledgeable, friendly, and got the work done quickly. My wife and I werevery impressed. We have called them with questions on other occasions, and they gave us helpful information and they never charged for their expertise or time. Great people!!

These guys are great. I've used them multiple times and they are always very quick to respond, on time, and very professional and knowledgeable. On more than a few occasions I've had to leave them alone in the house and I always return to a cleaned up area and locked house. Usually Ryan is my plumber and it's clear that this isn't just some job for him. The company has been in his family for five decades and he takes a lot of pride in his performance. I will be using them for all future plumbing issues.

We had an excellent experience with Ford's Plumbing. They have great customer service. I called and got an appointment right away. I had some drains that need to be cleared. They came the next day, and the work did not take long. They were professional and clear about the job. They were straight up with the prices and the time line. They also gave me advise to keep the drains clear for the future. I was really satisfied with the service and I have been recommending them to family and friends. They are quick, honest, and efficient.

Called for help in the morning. This company responded most promptly. The service man arrived 2.5 hours later. He did the work in 20 minutes with excellent results. My kitchen sink drains. Perfect. Based on past experience, I had to ask twice if the price of $39.00 was correct. It turned out he was not joking. The service was good, fast and the price was extraordinary for a 1/2 hour "plumber" work.

its no fun having a plumbing problem but these guys are on point!! the technician[ got to my house within an hour of calling, fixed the leak under my sink, and never disturbed my house guests. I was expecting to pay double because of the holiday but the plumber said its just a fixed rate. kudos to these guys!

They were always on time, reasonable, quick and efficent.

Although couldn't come first day, did come 2nd day. Arrived on time, was friendly, professional and did the job easily. Explained the problem and told me how to do it myself and how to prevent it long term. Very satisfied.

Reilly was prompt, professional, friendly, and explained everything to us. He was there within about 10 minutes after we called for service. And we got an Angie's List discount.

After a long inspection he concluded that we needed all new pipes to that end of the house. As we live in a ranch style home built on a slab and with a flat roof it would be very costly as the pipes would have to be run on the outside of the house. We'd had work done here by Ford's before, so they were our first estimate. Had the price quoted not been so high, over $8,000, we would not have bothered with any others. We did call two others from Angie's List. The next representative crawled behind the offending bathroom sink, backflushed the incoming pipes, and billed us for $85 service call. We've had no problem since. Draw your own conclusion.

Leak under sink wasn't under control after first visit. Good replacement of hot/cold faucet, but took 10 days to obtain a replacement. Fair price.

Reilly and his team came out the next day and completed the kitchen main line work. I was at work and did not know how long it took, but was told it would be done in a couple of hours. Reilly was very helpful in getting the price to be lower for me as I was told by other competitors the price originally quoted was very high. I think the $600 is a fair price, though a bit higher than I would have liked to pay. Either way, everything is working just fine now. Obviously, I am not able to really qualify my rating on 'Quality' as I am not a certified plumber and nor am I even able to crawl under my house to verify, but that said, the issue is really solved and it was done quickly, efficiently and professionally.

I contacted Ford's via Angie's List Email because of a non-emergency main-line situation . The office staff, Joanie, promptly replied to my inquiry by Angie's List email. Of all the companies I contacted, (of which I found online), Ford's was the first to make contact with me. I spoke with Robert. Robert came to my home and gave me a competitive estimate. He was courteous, efficient, thorough and very professional. He was patient with all of my questions including all of my insurance-related questions too...yes, they have insurance, they are licensed and bonded. They also have full time plumbers on staff...not just day laborers from outside the local home improvement store, LOL! I'm very glad that I found Ford's...clearly an upstanding company with integrity that I can trust. I'm happy to pay a few bucks more (literally a few bucks) to have exceptional quality and I found that with Ford's. PS - I'll be calling them again soon for a toilet-issue in my downstairs bathroom.

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, our shower would not shut off. I called Ford's a little after 4pm after I couldn't get a hold of my condo's usual plumber. I got through to a live person, I didn't have to have anyone paged or leave any message. I spoke with a plumber directly and he told me that he'd be out in less than an hour. He was perfectly on time. He fixed it rather quickly, it was a broken washer on the faucet. He even cleaned out my shower head (that shower hasn't had that much pressure since it was new!). He gave me the bill and I was very pleasantly surprised. I would have paid double that to have someone come to my place on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening. I will be using Ford's plumbing again.

My friend was having a party at her apartment Friday night and the toilet started to leak, the maintenance man couldn't be reached so I suggested calling Fords plumbing, I've used them myself in the past and always had a great experience. They showed up within 40 minutes, replaced the hose in the back of the toilet, and also a part inside the toilet. The plumber was respectful of the guests, quick, and even cleaned up the mess from the leak!
