The service went very well. They were punctual and consciousness We had a power outage so we couldnt see the final results. When the power came back on we saw a little bit of water leakage. And i called the supervisor back out. And he came out and repaired the water leakage.

Reilly couldn't have been more helpful. He solved our problems and saved us a ton of money!

I can't remember when I've been so frustrated simply trying to schedule an appointment for work to be done. I scheduled an appointment with Fords to replace a leaky drinking water faucet; they had been out to my house before and told me it was an easy fix after other plumbers told me it couldn't be done, so I was looking forward to having this finally fixed. Ryan arrived and when I asked him how long it would take, he informed me that it was an estimate-only appointment and that the office would call me later to schedule. I was disappointed, but oh well. I'll expect the call. After receiving no word from the office, I called today and spoke with Sandy. When I asked to schedule the work, she asked if I had received the email. I had not, and had no idea what she was talking about. I had never been asked for my email address, by either the first scheduler or Ryan. She insisted that it was "office procedure" that I had to wait for the email before they could schedule me, and that I would have to wait until Monday when the estimator would be back in the office. I told her I didn't want another estimate, but to schedule the work. She insisted that was how it needed to be done. So to my understanding, I had to wait for her to send me an email, wait until she received my reply, then wait until Monday for an estimator to *then* schedule my appointment, which would be how far in the future? I expected this work to be completed last Tuesday. I asked if I could go ahead and schedule the work and then receive the email and send back the form; she insisted she was unable as this was "office procedure." Needless to say, we went round and round in circles and I finally gave up. Fords Plumbing, I don't want to mess around with emails and estimators and "office procedures." I just want my faucet replaced. I understand that you need to run your business the way that's best for you, but to make a client jump through so many hoops to get the work simply scheduled - let alone done - is frustrating. There was also the bit where I had to call them to find out where the tech was at the very end of my scheduled time, only to be told that he had another client ahead of me before his arrival (and when they claim that I was not at home because I had to pick up my daughter at school, *after* the time originally scheduled, I was gone and back way before he arrived) and the bit where Sandy claimed I had two items to be done when it was two separate estimates for the same job (one with faucet, one without). But I was patient with those. UPDATE: Sandy called back and offered to schedule with Ryan to complete the work, without all the procedure. Why this didn't happen from the beginning I don't know. But I have scheduled the work and will let you know how it goes. I had an excellent experience with them the first time so am willing to give them a second chance.

I discovered I had a continuous flow issue, a leak somewhere in the pipes, from looking at my phone bill. Since we are in a drought there was a big fine for the water loss/usage. This had to be addressed ASAP by issue of the water company. I set up an appointment on Friday, March 4 2016. The technician came out and I informed him of the urgency and problem. To his credit he was able to pinpoint the general area he thought was problematic. He wrote up an invoice and told me to call the office to set up an appointment for the following week. I did so Monday morning, with Lizette, and she told they would get back to me later in the day with a time/schedule. I never heard from her. I tried emailing and calling for the next several days. No response. (they were quick to respond to the emails when they wanted my credit card info!!) Finally on Thursday, and close to 550 gallons of water now leaked according to the water department, I got her on the phone. I asked what was going on? why hadn't she responded. She put me on hold and then told me the technician who assessed the problem was on vacation!!!! He wouldn't be back until the following week. There was no mention of this by the technician at the time of assessment and he said he could be out to my house probably by Weds. Not sure who the problem lies with but clearly this business just wanted to secure my deposit and then make me wait til they could do the job. If they were busy I could have moved on and had this problem fixed already. I even said as much right at the beginning. I would not recommend this company if you have an urgent problem. They obviously do not care about their customers... not to mention the drought rates we are experiencing.

I've had fords do work for me before in the past and they have always been great, so when my storm drain backed up again I called them right away. I had fords hydro jet my storm drains about 8 months ago and it came with a 2 year warrenty so I was surprised it backed up again. When Reilly showed up he noticed it was just a bunch of leaves plugging the top of the drain, he removed the leaves and down went the water. He put a camera in the drain to make sure it was ok. Sure enough everything was fine. He didn't even charge me for the after hours visit.

Today was the second time we have used Ford's Plumbing. As before, the service was on time, cleanly done, and thorough. Brian Reilly was the plumber both times. This morning the kitchen faucet ceased working and water leaked underneath. One call to Lisette at Ford's was all it took to get a prompt response and arrival of Mr. Reilly. Brian Reilly's work is neat, clean, and accurate. What is most welcome, is a clear sense that Mr. Reilly truly cares, and that he is scrupulously honest----a rare find in the world of 2016! In my 37 years in LA, Mr. Reilly is the first plumber I can recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

Initially we had a great deal of trouble getting this service call coordinated. There were missed dates and long hours waiting and some fumbling around the supplier's front office of folks. Ford's was responsive to our previous unfavorable Angie's List posting and so we give them credit for following up. In fact the owner Robert Ford had contacted us directly to get the work completed at the first possible opportunity and the service tech did show up on time at the property and completed the work. The front office then called us back to check up on the service and provided an electronic receipt of our payment via e-mail. This service provide typically has a history of excellent service and we hope that will continue in the future.

Excellent and very fast service. Technician worked until he was able to light the pilot, and didn't just give up or give excuses. Great service Ford's Plumbing! My family will be using your service for our needs from now on!

I came home from work to discover my roommate had clogged the kitchen sink with some stuff that he should not have put down the kitchen sink drain. Since they were so good last time I decided to call them immediately, and they responded immediately too. It was handled, and fast!

I called and the person who answered, luckily for me, was finishing up a job close by. He was over within 15 minutes. He let himself in with a a key in a lockbox trouble shot the issue locked the door and was out within 20min. He even went so far as to go into the crawl space to investigate and identified an unrelated light leak coming from the toilet. I will likely use Ford's when I decide to fix this leak, which he said could be fairly expensive and not immediately necessary. Really appreciate not being pressured to perform costly work in the moment. Too many service providers use shady tactics when a home owner is faced with repair issues. ***I actually don't recall the service fee ***

I called Ford?s Plumbing when Ron?s A-1 Plumbing flat-out refused to correct a problem they left in my kitchen faucet (please see my review.) I had a leaky faucet that resulted in greatly reduced water pressure in the hot water. After two attempts to fix it, Ron?s owner called me and insisted that the problem was in the faucet and that they could not take it apart to fix it and that they would not be coming back out. This led me to find Ford?s Plumbing. I called and received an appointment for a free estimate the next day. Riley arrived on time, and let me give a full explanation as to what was happening - instead of interrupting or talking over me, as many service providers do. I explained that Ron?s insisted that lower pressure for hot water is typical in any faucet (which surprised him), that they had to jury-rig the water lines to correct the problem, and when that didn?t work they refused to take apart the faucet in order to fix it. Riley asked me, ?Why did they refuse to take apart the faucet?? I had no answer for him. Riley took a look and within a few minutes told me that not only was there no difference in the lines for the hot water (???), but that the low pressure could be corrected with a simple change of the faucet cartridge. He gave me a very fair price for the fix - $185, could schedule the repair the next day - but explained exactly what I needed to do to fix the problem myself. Five minutes, a bowl of vinegar, and needle-nose pliers to pull out the small plastic piece that was stuck in the cartridge and my hot water pressure was back to normal. Riley was courteous, knowledgable, and professional throughout. Even though I didn?t have Ford?s perform the work, Riley?s excellent customer service and fair estimate ensures that they?re the plumbers I?ll be calling in the future. the hot water pressure was reduced after a repair to my faucet, and that

We were so impressed with Ford's Plumbing when we had an emergency, we tried them again for our regular maintenance. They did not disappoint, showed up on time, went right to work, did a great job and left a spotless work area when they were done. We immediately noticed a difference in the time it took for the water to heat up. And again, everyone at Ford's was so friendly and helpful, this is the way a service business should be run. Ford's Plumbing and Heating are now our Official go-to-guys for any plumbing issues.

We had a leak in our main service line, Riley came out to take a look and said it would take about two days to dig it up, replace it and test the system. They started the next day and upon uncovering the line saw how bad the situation really was. The guys went into hyper-drive and had it done that same day, ensuring we had water that night. The work was expertly done, the attitudes positive and everyone we came in contact with at Ford's were so friendly and helpful. We will be calling Ford's for any plumbing issues in the future!

From the first phone call I could tell that I would enjoy working with Ford's plumbing. I was new to LA,, had just purchased a condo and was not quite sure who I should call for this job. The person I spoke with was very helpful and told me that this wasn't generally the type of service they provide. She asked if she could speak with her boss and call me back by end of day. True to her word, she called back to ask if they might have a technician swing by to scope out the situation. Riley arrived right on time --- he was professional, specific and very thorough in his inspection. He told me that the type of work I needed done was generally performed by a contractor/remodeling firm, but that he would take all the info back to his boss to see if they could perform all the necessary tasks required. While Riley was here, I asked him to look at another plumbing situation --- a leak under a powder room sink --- for an estimate and to have this work done when/if they would be doing the sink installation. My husband had already purchased the new parts needed for this sink thinking he'd do it himself (never a good idea!). Riley took one look at it and within 5 minutes he had removed the old defective part and installed the new one. Needless to say it works perfectly, and it gets even better --- he refused to let me pay for the service!!! Wow! So back to the original project, after consulting with his boss, Riley called to tell me that the work was just far enough out of their scope of services that it would likely require a little bigger team and be a good bit more expensive than I had budgeted. I can't tell you how much I appreciate their honesty on this and that it gave me the opportunity to continue looking for someone who does this on a routine/daily basis. There is no question that I will call Ford's when I have a plumbing issue. I am so happy I came across their name on Angie's List.

Ford's Plumbing has done major repair work at my home in the past, and because that was a positive experience, I contacted them again when I discovered a dripping pipe under my kitchen sink. Making an appointment over the phone was easy. Riley was sent out to inspect and repair. Since it was a minor repair, he didn't charge me. I appreciate so much not being charged for things that turn out to be minor. It does not go unnoticed that it costs effort and time for Ford's to schedule and send someone over. Such gestures of goodwill mean a lot. Thank you!

Wow! Excellent service. Came to my place to give an estimate on the toilet repair and suggested I do the repair myself to save money. Even showed me how to do the repair. That is an honest company. I was able to do the repair myself and I will definitely use them in the future.

Simple. Fast. Inexpensive. Really nice guys too. Before they arrived I was expecting they'd be typical plumbers and overcharge me for more work than needed to be done. But instead they were completely honest with me and fixed the problem immediately. Did not charge me very much at all. Can't recommend these guys enough. Best plumbers I've ever hired

I woke up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. My toilet had had some minor problem with being backed up just days before. The problem seemed to get worse until finally when I used it that morning it would not stop flowing. I called the Landlord and there was only an answering service. This problem ha to be taken care of immediately! So I decided to find a plumber myself. I did some fast research and decided to go with Ford's Plumbing. Everyone I spoke to and dealt with from start to finish were friendly, polite and very professional. They arrived within 45 minutes which was what they estimated me with on the phone. Everything was resolved in a very efficient and timely manner. I am recommending them to my landlord for future use and although I had to pay out of.my own pocket I'm pretty sure I will get reimbursed. Either way to me it was worth it!

I've used these guys in the past for a bunch of different plumbing problems. They are on time and always professional and I will continue to use them in the future.

Didn't call Ford Plumbing back.

We called a plumber to come check the hot water flow from our kitchen faucet because it had stopped. They arrived promptly first thing in the morning. Turns out there was a switch behind the garbage disposal we didn't know about since it was a new home. I was embarrassed because all he had to do was flip the switch. He was so nice about it and didn't charge us anything for the visit. We'll definitely hire them in the future.

Very professional service, came same day that I called. Called me :30 prior to arrival and got the job done quickly without over charging me. Very happy with the service and price. Would use again.
