They picked up a dirty floor rug, and returned a spotless one in a few days for a very reasonable price. It doesn't get better than this.

Both times I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to others.

Drakes did a fantastic job of deep cleaning my outdoor furniture. They were able to offer multiple appointment times, despite the busy holiday season, and ultimately came out just one day after I called. They offered a new customer discount and did a thorough job of explaining exactly what they could and couldn't do. And they provided me with education about how to properly take care of the pieces to preserve them over time from mildew and other threats. The workers worked quickly and were very professional and polite. I'll definitely use them again for the same or other jobs.

We were remodeling our house and went to Drakes Carpet. They has a nice selection and the people were very helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't present when Sue came out and measured ,nor was I present during the installation ( my remodeling contractor was). I sure wish I had been there though, obviously their installers ( who hardly speak English) need to watched like a hawk. After a few weeks, the carpet was starting to lift at the edges and there is some gaps in the padding which you can feel as you stand on the floor. The Drake family are very nice people and when I called them to complain, they were sympathetic and said they would send someone out to look at it...well...the non English speaking guy came out and said there's nothing wrong, at least I think that's what he said...very frustrating. I won't even call them out to clean the floors because I like to be able to communicate with the people I hire to work in my home. DONE !

Drakes was terrific. They spent allot of time and care to get the stains out of the chair and carpet. Going over the spots many times to be sure all was as clean as possible. They were professional and courteous. Also suggesting ways to care for our floors to maximize the durability.We will continue to use them as they were very responsive and reasonable in their charges for the work.

They were recommended to me and I would highly recommend them. They are very nice people. They didn't upsell and they gave me the best product for what I needed. They were very efficient with the economy.

This year, as every year, another "chore" was handled smoothly. I cannot say enough about them. The guys are neat, clean, punctual, courteous, kind and thoughtful. They are as unobtrusive as possible. Everything is replaced as found. They are very conscientious about pets and pet rules. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

Scott and Cameron came to clean the long-overdue carpets in my 2-bedroom apartment. They get a B in punctuality only because they were very late-but it was for a very good cause and they more than made it up to me! They were very sympathetic to my recently having had to put down a beloved cat, and went overboard in getting everything as clean as possible and as quickly as possible. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. And what great guys!-I could have yakked with them all evening. I will definitley use them again and would recommend them highly. I did not use this contractor due to lack of responsiveness. I needed parts of a bad tile flooring job re-done, and I wanted my carpet & upholstery cleaned because of all the dust created after that messy tile job. I called Drake in mid-March about carpet & upholstery cleaning and left a message. When my call was returned I mentioned that I would call them later because I should have the tile re-done first and the guy said his partner, Diana, does flooring but she would have to see the flooring job before I could get an estimate for either job. We arranged for them to come out and give me an estimate for both jobs on March 22. Diana arrived almost two hours late, without calling to say she'd be late, and without apologizing for her tardiness once she arrived.I had planned to take two hours off work, but needed to take four hours off because of her tardiness. I checked the traffic ma between her office and my home, which is normally a 30 minute drive during rush hour, and there werre no traffic issues that would cause that much tardiness. She pleasantly surveyed the job and gave a verbal estimate and said she would follow up with a written estimate. A week passed and I had not heard from her, so I sent an email asking for a written estimate, as required by a licensed contractor. A day or so later, she sent an estimate for the tile repair only. The estimate had several disclaimers, unlike what the other bidder gave me. This made me less confident in her ability to do the job without having me incur additional charges above her already higher price. I emailed her back asking for a written estimate for the carpet & upholstery cleaning. The cleaning estimate was so much more complicated that I was not sure my notes were correct, so I really wanted to understand the cleaning estimate by having it in writing even though it may not be required by law. I never got another response from her or her partner. I know her partner handles the cleaning part of the business, and that may explain why she didn't include the cleaning estimate with the flooring estimate, but it seems to me that just as he forwarded my flooring call to her, she should have forwarded my cleaning request to him. I had "A" work done by other contractors for hundreds less. I will not call Drake again.

I emailed Scott at Drake's to have him come clean my carpet, but had subsequently already hired someone who had done a sub par job when he responded. I thanked Scott for his email, but told him that I already had the carpet cleaned, and was informed that the pet spots I had would not come out. I was told the discoloration was due to the color of the jute backing and there was no way to get them out. Scott replied that he would like the opportunity to try and get the spots out if possible at no cost to me. I really responded to his idea and was excited about the possibility that i was not stuck with new, ruined, white wool carpet!! He came over the next time he was in the neighborhood and treated the spots with some of his magic sauce! It worked! He said he would treat them very slowly and gradually as the product could remove the color from the carpet. In fact, it did a little bit but i preferred it to the yellow urine stains that I had. He even returned another time and would NOT accept payment from me. I did have him clean the carpet prior on another day prior to the treatment. He called to arrange a third visit to treat the spots, but I told him I thought he'd gotten them all out. Because he was so diligent, and because he insisted on trying his product out free of charge (twice!), he will be my new carpet cleaner. He won my business fair and square. I would highly recommend him.

Our dog had a little accident on our clean, white carpet. This is something that we have never had to deal with, so we panicked a bit and thought the stain would never come out. We called Drakes. They came the same day we called, were on time and completely professional. The stain on our carpet was magically gone as if it never happened. Most importantly of all, these guys are so nice and honest! Having had some bad experiences with carpet cleaners in the past, I can't say enough how refreshing it was to deal with nice, honest people.

Diana Drake was great. She helped us pick out the carpet, came out to her house which was quite far from her office, and oversaw every aspect of our carpet installation. She also threw in a higher-end, firmer carpet pad which you can feel and really makes a difference in how the floor feels when you walk on it. We really trusted her. Her installation team were real pros, too. Just top notch all the way around. There was no sense that they are cutting corners in any way. Her prices may be a little higher than Home Depot and the like, but you get what you pay for. We also used Drakes for carpet cleaning. The co-owner came out himself to do the cleaning. He was great. This outfit are consummate pros.

They arrived on time, repaired, tighted and stretched our very old carpeting. There were wrinkles in several areas. Then they cleaned the carpeting. I never thought they would get all the stains and spots out but they did. There is only one stain that they were only able to lighten considerably. It was very old and I had tried to clean it many times to no avail. It is hardly noticeable now.Scott explained exaclty what they would do and gave some advice on future spills. I am so happy with the results. The carpet seems softer and looks almost new.

They showed up on time and did a very good job. We are a retail store, so we had to have it done on a Saturday after five PM, they removed stains that we thought would require a new carpet. We would definitely recommend them and we will use them again.;

They were on time and courteous. They did a great job. There is a certain spot in front of my couch that always re appears after previous companies have performed the work. After Drakes Carpet Cleaning performed the work the spot has not re appeared. They were half the price of company I hired last year. Other companies I have hired in the past, it has taken days for the carpet to dry. With Drakes Carpet Cleaning. the carpet was dry within hours. I would recommend their services to anyone.

I called Drake's in a panic because I realized I needed my filthy couch cleaned in 2 days before my in-laws came for the holidays. I got a call back the next morning, and they apologized for being in a non-service area the previous afternoon when I placed the call. They hooked me up within 2 hours of our conversation. The technician who came, Cameron, was punctual, polite and explained everything he was going to do, and later pointed out some spots that wouldn't come entirely clean. The piece he cleaned was one I'd had trouble with in the past--the fabric has a nap. In the past, Sears made me sign a waiver saying that I knew the texture could be altered during cleaning, and Coit refused to clean it due to the "ilabiltity," with or without a waiver. Drake's cleaned it no problem, no color or texture alteration.They also took an area rug to their shop to "pit wash" it, saying that the results were better than if they did it in my home. They expected to return it dry in two days--also great turn-around

This was the second time I used Drake's Carpet Cleaning. Excellent service and they get out spots others can not! Easy communication. Very pleasant and efficent service. This is the company I will use from now on.

Suffice to say I will hire them again.
