+ -1 moreWe had a great experience with Buddy KIng and would definitely use him again. They researched the dryer box product that we found online, obtained one, and installed it. The work was done very professionally and promptly.
Description of Work: We used Buddy King to install a product called a dryer box in our laundry closet area. In our laundry closet area, we had our washer and dryer side by side. The dryer vent came out of the wall on one side, which took us a lot of space and meant that the washer/dryer was pushed all the way to one side of the closet. That complicated things for us as far as getting a built-in countertop and shelves installed in the laundry closet. We found a product called a dryer box online, which also the dryer vent to run closer to a wall, thereby leaving more room. We had Buddy King HVAC come out and install the dryer box.

+ -1 moreThe price was a little steep by the hour, but we considered it a "minimum charge", as we called other HVAC companies and they wouldn't even come out. It seems everyone wants to install new systems instead of helping those of us with repair issues. My only real complaint is that they are a small company, and were busy with commercial jobs when I first called. From first call to repair was 17 days. But at least they did come for such a small job. We would use them again.
Description of Work: One of the ducts under the house was separated, and Brian quoted us $150 to just tape it back together. Unfortunately, when he actually went under the house, it was apparent that when it was installed years ago it was pulled very tight, causing a lot of stress. Brian therefore had to go get a longer section of ducting and install it, hooking it up to our other existing ducting. Although he spent over an hour getting the part, the work under the house was less than an hour.

+ -1 moreI will be honest, I called Buddy King because I liked the name..but I would call them again because i liked the service.My A/C was acting up just as my husband's sister got here to visit. i called around 11am and the guys at Buddy King came over THAT afternoon and had everything perfect. Two nice guys came over and checked the system out 1st. I was afraid we needed a new air conditioner or something, but all that we needed was refrigerant added and the evaporator coils cleaned. Great news. I really appreciated the fact that they didn't try to take me for a bigger job, because I was kind of stressed and probably would have done what they said! Oh and if you have your coils cleaned the air that comes out smells amazing!!
Description of Work: Cleaned evaporator coils. Added refrigerant. And made my day so much better!
