Sun Run replaced my roof due to storm damage that was caused by the company cutting my roof and installing solar panels on roof that was 17 years old. Since March 2023 after dealing with SunRun it was set to replace my roof in July 2023. SunRun has a contract with Troy Roofing. When I asked Troy Roofing what type of material they used they referred me back to Sun Run . Ask for the warranty referred back to Sun Run. Found out that they did not get a permit they thought that SunRun did it or that my job was not a roof replacement. They ran and got a permit in September 2 months later , but only after I called them and spoke to the office manager Danielle.The skylight / sun tunnel covers fell while they were roofing the house were left on the floor and never put back up inside my home, so to say the least one of the covers is now broken, left eaves unpainted, nails hanging from the boards. What I was told by the city inspector is they did the bare minimum. I had another contractor came out to quote other damage that solar panels caused.He looked straight up at the garage roof and said "when it rains it's going to leak." They did not properly install the roof there . This company hides behind SunRun. They avoid you like the plague when it comes to fixing problems they caused. If SunRun Solar says they're going to use this company to fix your roof don't walk run. When the city inspector came out Troy Roofing expected to just get it signed off. They did send a really nice rep named Matthew but they sent him without tools to even fix the problems or fix the sun tunnels/skylights. The city inspector asked me if I had signed anything regarding the roof replacement I told him no. Next stop their insurance company to pay for the items that were not finished or damaged. Then possibly the state contractor board. Just to let you know if attorney's get involved with SunRun you going to be there right along with them. Hope SunRun doesn't throw you under bus.

**BEWARE** If you want a company that shows up unannounced, cancels established job dates last minute, and has horrible communication make sure you hire Troy Roofing.
