Fantastic service. Squeezed us in the middle of a busy day. Very friendly, courteous and professional. Fixed my washing machine in a snap. Glad we found them. This kind of service is a rarity these days.

Once again Greg, the technician, came through with flying colors! He spent about 1/2 hour cleaning out the secondary pilot of my oven but still only charged me the service call. As always, very friendly, very polite, very professional. He acted as if it was his privilege to service me. Wow! Do you see that a lot these days? Even though I was far from his area, he gladly came out. It is always a great experience doing business with this company. The staff at the office also has a great attitude. Is it possible to give an A+?

Greg was prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable -- went right to work and knew what to do, fixing the problem entirely satisfactory. He even came back the next day to remediate a problem that was not at all his fault (needed to swap the hot and cold connections to the washer because our plumbing is quirky -- hot and cold supply lines were reversed by a contractor who replaced our piping 25 years ago). Greg cheerfully came back, and he took care of the problem with no complaint and with no extra charge. This is the second time Greg from Spencer Service has successfully and quickly repaired this very old washer. We are thrilled, because we do not want to buy another washer (they are expensive, they don't last very long, and all our friends with newer washers seem to hate theirs!). Another repair service we called had informed us that they don't repair appliances that are over 20 years old because they can't get parts. Greg at Spencer Service had the part on his truck and provided excellent service!

The technician Greg came on time and was very professional and courteous. He immediately diagnosed the problem and gave me the pros and cons of having the repair made as well as the cost estimate, particularly since it may not have been just the relay but the compressor that is having an issue. The repair was performed and the refrigerator appears to be working properly. Greg also made sure to keep things clean.

I called and spoke with Guy. I do property maintenance for our church. I explained the control knob on our Wolf oven wouldn't turn. Over the phone, he explained how to take the knob off and suggested examining the backside of the knob and its channel. He advised the knob may have an obstruction which would not allow it to depress. (This oven is at least 30 years old) I didn't see to much debris inside, but blew it out and examined the knob as suggested. It worked perfectly. Guy saved our church the service call. He could have easily set up an appointment and charge us. This professionalism isn't common these days and I was happy to call him back and advise if we needed service, we would be calling him.

Guy was professional and a pleasure to work with. He had to order part and come back a second time. The part came in really quickly. I would highly recommend this business!!

. The service was amazing! Greg, the technician, was extremely professional and polite. Patiently answered all my questions. Fixed my oven in a few minutes. A few months later, my oven didn't work again. Even though it was past the warranty, Greg came out again and didn't charge me---not even for the service call. (The pilot had gone out.) He even checked my refrigerator, which was running a little warm, and made some adjustments. He didn't charge me for that either. He was good natured about it, said he was glad do to it. Now this is a company that values its customers! I recommend it very highly.

Came out quickly, Matt was a nice person. He charged me 252.00 which was a lot more than expected but I do not have a point of reference of how much is reasonable. I gave an A for the price because I really don't know if this price was fair. I super duper loved Michelle. She is what great customer service is all about.!!!!

Show up within the promised time range. Check on the frig and honestly told us that it is better to save the repair cost towards a new frig instead of spending money on fixing the broken frig.

I called Spencer Service in order to inquire about having my Whirlpool gas dryer repaired. I had seen all of the positive reviews here on Angie's List, and noticed that they had an "A"in all service areas. When I spoke with Michelle at Spencer Service and explained the issue with my dryer, she told me up front what services might be performed and approximately how much this type of repair usually costs. I booked the service, and the Spencer Service repairman was at my home in a little over an hour. He was very professional, polite, and personable. He diagnosed the problem with my dryer, and had the necessary part needed on his truck. He fixed my dryer in less than an hour, and actually charged me less than the estimate that I was given. The price of the repair was very fair. In fact, it was far less expensive than other estimates that I had received by other companies. I will definitely use Spencer Service for all future repairs on the appliances in my home!

Loved his honesty. We are actually going to be remodeling so it worked out and we are fortunate we have always had a refrig in the garage so we are just using it til we get a new one, ironically the one in the garage is 20 years old at least.

Spencer Service did a great job! I called on a Monday morning and they were able to send a technician out after lunch. Greg arrived within the time window and had already read the problem description I had given earlier on the phone. Because he had seen that description, he knew what the problem would most likely be and had made sure to have the needed part ready before he arrived. He quickly diagnosed and replaced the faulty relay and got the fridge working again. Thanks to everyone at Spencer Service for a great experience.

Once again, the awesome folks at Spencer saved me the cost of a house call with over-the-phone advice. My dishwasher had not been doing a good job cleaning glasses in particular, and no rinse agents seemed to help. I called Spencer expecting to schedule a dishwasher maintenance call, and the receptionist, upon hearing about the problem, recommended LemiShine as both a cleaner for the dishwasher, as well as a soap additive going forward. Tried it and it worked like a charm! This is the second time I have called Spencer with a problem that they have ended up solving over the phone with friendly advice -- no house call needed. I will absolutely be using them in the future when I finally do need a service call.
