I called on a Thursday and asked to make an appointment for next Wednesday. The Pioneer service person offered to come sooner, but we had to decline because of our work schedule. The service man, Spencer, arrived within the 2 hour window and inspected the opener and found nothing wrong with it. He perforned a complete maintenance on the door, opener, and springs. The door now opens and closes more quietly than before. What more can I ask for? I was worried we would have to buy a new opener.

It was alright. They are punctual and got the job done within the time they specified. They were nice enough. I am happy with the results. There have been no problems since.

This was the first time I had used their services. They were prompt and professional. I am happy with the door. They gave good and wise advice. They gave me and affordable price. They have a good warranty.

Go for it, they are the best. He told me what to watch out for and what to do if something did happen. He was very kind and very professional.

They arrived exactly on time and explained everything, they didn't try to sell me a new door and they could have, instead they just added a door opener. on top of that they explained to me that the hinges on my door were actually antiques from WWII. I would definitely use them again.

We met with the owner of Pioneer Doors Inc. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. His estimate was $1100. We placed the order the following week. The door was ready for installation in two weeks. On the day of installation, one Pioneer worker came. He is efficient and skillful. He removed our old solid wood garage door and installed the new one all by himself. He also relocated our garage door opener. The job was done professionally; all details were comprehended. We always have a vibration problem with our garage opener and Pioneer fixed it for us. The new door is wonderful and the garage door opener is 10 times quieter. We are very satisfied with their work.

We bought our garage door and opener from Pioneer Door in 2004. It had worked fine until last weekend when it suddenly failed. None of the little lights worked, so it looked like a complete electrical failure inside the opener. The technician visit was scheduled for the day after I called. He arrived at the end of the two hour window, but had the door fixed in 10 minutes. The blown fuse confirmed my guess, and the weatherstrip was fixed without us asking. The charge was their standard charge for a house call - nothing extra.

A secretary answered the phone and, after a few questions, was able to describe my garage door better than I could. She suggested several kinds of openers, but cautioned me that a heavy garage door such as mine (it is an old, wooden garage door) needed an opener with a strong motor and a belt, not a chain drive. She gave me the installed price for the motor and scheduled an appointment with me for installation the next day. The morning of installation day, I called back and asked if there was a less expensive opener that would work well for my door. The secretary said that the technician would bring two models for me to choose from. After the technician explained the difference between the two models, I opted for the more expensive one. The opener was installed and the technician explained some technicalities to me. I felt that he was very patient with my questions and answered me completely. The price was exactly what was quoted to me over the phone, even though the technician had to spend extra time working with the wiring in my old garage.

They were very professional. He returned all of our phone calls and he was very prompt. The installer was also very professional and we had no problems at all with the work that they did. He charged less than others I looked at in the area.

The installation was done on time and everything was done as requested. The installer gave careful attention to weather sealing and ensured everything was right. The entire payment ($931) was due and paid after successful installation.

Alan Hill arrived at the arranged time for the estimate. The garage door samples were displayed inside a large truck which made it easier to pick a door. The process was simple and easy in deciding on the door and opener. Alan never tried to sell me a door that was not right for my house. The installer came on Saturday and professionally installed my door and opener. I did notice a slight dent in the seam and called Alan on Monday. It was nicely fixed and door looks great.

I had a garage door spring break on Sunday morning. I called Pioneer Door first thing Monday and Geoff came to my house that evening. The springs on my door were old and Geoff explained that they were no longer manufactured because of safety concerns. To adapt the springs to meet the code would cost $300. Considering that the door was about 15 years old and was starting to rust, I decided to replace the entire door, for $500 more. I scheduled the installation for Friday of that week. Pioneer door called a day ahead to remind me of the appointment. The installer showed up on time and set to work. He removed the old door, along with the old framing that had been used to make my old door fit the opening. He had the entire job done in about 3 hours. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself and hauled the old door and hardware away. Now I have a beautiful new door -- it's quiet and works perfectly.

Our garage door fell down on Saturday. We called Pioneer on Tuesday, I think. The gentleman on the phone was polite and helpful. Reminded me that we had used them several years ago and that they knew right where we were. Made an appointment for the following Saturday. A dispatcher called an hour ahead to let me know when someone would be there, as I don't live on the property. I met Alan at the property. He was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He gave me several options in different price ranges, then let me choose according to my priorities. The doors were ordered and installed on Friday (today). I did not have to be there for them to do the work. Just when they finished to inspect and pay. They actually finished over an hour early. They removed all debris from the old doors, and appeared to have swept up after themselves.

VERY prompt and friendly. Brought out a truck with samples of everything for us to view ahead of time. We had several bids from other companies, some of which were a little less expensive but we choose Pioneer Doors due to their professionalism and promptness (it's hard getting all the owners organized but easier if you know the contractor will be there on time!).

Pioneer Door was a fantastic company to do business with. They were on time for both of our appointments. Our garage door was installed within one week of our initial meeting. They weren't pushy at all about upgrades and were realistic in considering which upgrades would be best for us.

After calling Pioneer, the response was immediate. Alan was a polite, informative and likeable gentleman. The installer and the work performed was exactly as promised, on time and on schedule. I had already had one estimate from another company, but decided to go with Alan and Pioneer due to their timeliness, professionalism and explanation of all work to be done, which was not explained to me by the other company. I would call Pioneer again and again, and refer them often. Thank you Angie's List for having this type of referral system. I will definitely use it for all of my future projects.

Installer arrived on time. Quality work w/no hassles. Very easy to reach someone during business hours, and their office staff is very responsive. Called the day before to confirm the installation appointment. The only point that I did not like is that they set their estimate appointments in 4 hour blocks. So it's either 8-12pm or 1-5pm. They do however call you 15-30mins before the salesman arrives, but it's still not the best setup for the consumer. They have a rolling showroom, which they bring to the estimate appointment, that is very useful for seeing and touching the products. Salesman was knowledgable. Not the cheapest, but only 3-5% more expensive than the lowest estimate. The excellent office staff and knowledgable salesman and installer makes up for the slight price difference. I'd rather pay a little more for quality and knowledge vs a rock bottom price.

They were great. Very professional, friendly, and competitively priced. Had a good selection of garage doors and was thorough in giving me the pros and cons on the different models and options. Did everything they promised in the time frame discussed. Workmanship is good and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

this is the best service company I have ever experienced. When I called, they came to my house in a truck that is a showroom on wheels. I was able to look at samples of the doors and the windows and pick what I liked. The salesman explained the differences between the different materials used for the doors and answered all my questions. A week later, the installer arrived, on time, and quietly and efficiently replaced the garage doors and left the area clean. And the doors are just perfect - they work beautifully, exactly as promised.

IT WAS GREAT QUALITY SERVICE. THEY HAD A GREAT PRICE. THEY MATCHED AND BEAT ONE OF THEIR COMPETITORS. THEIR JOB HABITS WERE GREAT. THEY TOOK AWAY THE OLD DOOR AND LEFT EVERYTHING SPOTLESS AFTER A TOTAL CLEAN UP.

THEY ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND THEY REMOVED AND HAULED THE OLD WOOD DOOR FOR FREE. THEY ALSO INSTALLED ELECTRICAL WIRING FOR THE OPENER, AND PROGRAMMED BOTH REMOTE CONTROLS.

THEY REMOVED THE OLD WOOD GARAGE DOOR AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. THEN RAN NEW ELECTRICAL WIRING TO THE LIFT UNIT AND THE INSTALLATION WENT WITHOUT A HITCH. REALLY LIKE MY NEW GARAGE DOOR!

THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH FIRST ON THE PHONE WAS HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE WORKER WAS VERY PROMPT, EFFICIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT BEHIND AND THE DOOR OPERATED THE WAY IT SHOULD. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
