The service tends to take about ten minutes. I thought the price was a bit high, but it was a good service. I liked the people I dealt with. I like that they are quick. They know the problem and are able to fix everything. Their customer service has been good. I would recommend them.

I called Pioneer, based on Angie's list information, to have work done to fix or replace my garage door. The office receptionist was very courteous and attentive, and she scheduled me for an appointment at a convenient time and date for me in order for someone to come out to my house. I was given a four hour time frame on that date in which I could expect the representative, Alan Hill, to come. I was called by Alan Hill on the day of my appointment to let me know what specific time to expect him at. Alan looked at the door and let me know my options, what to expect, the amount of time the job would take, and what it would cost. He happened to have been driving the company truck/RV that had samples of the different types of garage door openers, which he showed me and also told me the pros and cons of each set up. Alan then gave me the estimate and set up an appointment for the install to come by at a later date because I had to order the panels to be painted to match my HOA's specifications. About a week later a person came by to do the installation. The color matched perfectly and the install was done in a careful and complete way. The installer was friendly and II was able to watch and ask questions, and was shown how to properly oil and maintain the door. I was also advised that I might want to have a once a year visit to adjust and service the door and the hardware to make sure it continues to operate the way it should. The whole experience went very smoothly and I was treated professionally and courteously the whole way.

Called for assistance in the morning; had to leave voice message to return my call. Received a call-back next morning and service representative was dispatched before noon following day. Service rep was prompt, called to keep me informed about his planned arrival time. He carefully inspected the problem with the door, explained the problem, gave me an estimate (which I accepted) and proceeded to repair the door and adjust it to prevent repeat occurrence. The door has never worked better than it does now. Smooth and quiet! Thank you Pioneer and Daniel!

They were reasonably priced. They did a great job on fixing the door and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Alan showed up on time in a truck with a small store inside. There were garage door samples, a desk, and everything else necessary to choose the perfect garage door. He was friendly and informative, his prices seemed fair. We decided against a new door, but if I were to get one it would be from him.

I was very pleased with everything. I recommend them.

Called Pioneer Door to obtain quote for re-balancing and/or replacing torsion springs on garage door. Called other contractors and Pioneer's price was competitive. They were able to set up an appointment the same day. Daniel stopped by in the afternoon for an estimate and indicated that existing springs were not appropriate for size of door and recommended replacement. Daniel explained that although re-balancing the existing springs was also an option, doing so would increase chance of spring breakage. We decided to replace the springs and the job was completed in under 30 minutes and Daniel took time to answer all of our questions.

Alan came out with the mobile showroom (you have got to see this thing--very cool) and after taking measurements of the garage, we discussed what I wanted. As with many things at my house, the door width is non-standard. I was also desirous of a non-standard look for my garage door, so I chose a commercial door. None of this was a problem for this very professional company. They did exactly what they said they would do in exactly the way they said they would do it. I am very happy with my new garage door (and opener) and will recommend Pioneer Door to my friends.

Arrived promptly at the appointment time, very friendly and efficient. Came to replace broken spring but also recommended replacing worn rollers. He took the time to show the wear on the old rollers and explain why replacing them would improve overall efficiency and reduce wear and tear on door. He also oiled all hinges on garage door and showed me how to do in the future. Very good service and I would use them again!

It feels good. They were close by; we could get to them easily. They were within 2 blocks of our house. They gave us a good price. They could do it the next day because our door was not working right. It would open sometimes and it would not open sometimes. We have no problems now. The door was installed 18 years ago. We spoke to the original installer of the door. They could not help us out. I would use Pioneer in future, if required, because they are close by.

On August 8, 2009 I called to check on our order (no one had called to provide a status up to that point) and was told it was in and could be delivered later that day. The driver arrived and he and my husband unloaded the door. The hardware was in an opened box and all of the fasteners were in an opened bag spilling into the box. There were separate sealed bags with the decorative door handles. We did not receive Installation Instructions or User Manual with the delivery. Also, we noted some scratches and scrapes on the door and was told touch-up paint would be provided. The following week, I called into the store to request the Installation Instructions, User Manual and touch-up paint and provided my mailing address. As of 8/22/09 I had not yet received the documents, so we obtained the instructions from the Amarr website to begin the installation. On August 22, 2009, we began the installation, came across several issues, and could not complete the installation- Bearings were powder-coated and inoperable, received two right-handed brackets instead of right & left, strut was not powder-coated, top fixture mounts missing, gap between window and cut-out on glass panel, no owner's manual or install instructions provided, overall door size does not fit opening. On August 24, 2009 a detailed letter with photos requesting resolution was emailed and hand delivered along with the defective parts to the store. A reply email was sent on August 29, 2009 addressing all concerns with due dates of September 4, 2009 at the latest. This was an acceptable and timely response, however the date was not met. Since then numerous phone calls (approximate 1 -2 per week) requesting status have placed and the same person answering the phone cannot give me a date when the parts will be delivered. I had sent two emails to the owner and neither have been answered. Because we began the installation and disposed of our old door we are still left with an inoperable garage for over two months and didn't have any idea when it will be resolved. Also we didn?t know if other parts are missing until we completed the installation since we did not receive a detailed parts list. Finally, one of the owners responded on 10/14/09 indicated her personnel had been in contact with me (not that I had made the attempts to call) and that my parts would be delivered on Friday. All of the remaining parts (even though not all were powder coated as we paid for originally) were delivered on 10/16/09 along with a balance due of $98.88 for the sales tax they forgot to charge me! There was no consideration for all of the delays, poor quality or lack of customer service. I paid the tax and expressed my dissatisfaction to the company. They offered me a free alignment service after we completed the install as if to say we would still need their help. We didn't elect to call for any further assistance. At the end of October, we had some extra hardware and completed the installation and the door looks great and operates nicely.

The technician Spencer was right on time, very friendly, very professional, seemed enthusiastic about his job and he presented as very knowledgeable about his field of work. He made specific recommendations to improve the performance of my garage door opening process and gave me an overview of my current garage door situation. Also gave me run-down on current garage door opener unit (which I knew little about since we just bought the house and received no documents about the system). Very informative.

I have no complaints. They did exactly what they said they would do and charged exactly the price they had estimated. The owner, Alan, the installer, James, and the woman who answered questions over the phone, Lorraine, were all very experienced, knowledgeable and competent. They went over the various options before starting the job. The door was installed with the options I had ordered, it works perfectly and the color matches the stucco.

I got a quote from Pioneer and another company (the latter recommended by a neighbor and Angie's List as well) and got quotes from both. Pioneer got my business because 1) they were 10% cheaper than the other company for the same thing and 2) they do installations on Saturdays, which the other company did not. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person was prompt, knowledgable, polite, and efficient. All appointments were re-confirmed with a phone call. The door looks and works great, as does the opener. The installation took less time than quoted. The installer was friendly with my neighbors who came over to check out the project, as well as my dogs who came out to visit him ! When I called to set up an appt. for an estimate, I got a quick appointment (within 2 days). Alan came when he said he would, and called to confirm that he was on his way. Answered all my questions, and had a neat truck set up with samples of doors, etc.

They were terrific and did a great job for me. I got this work done a long time back and never had any problems with the garage doors.

Excellent. My door opener gave up the ghost on Tues. 8/18/09 and I called Pioneer, since I had previous experience with Alan Hill, the owner, who replaced old heavy wooden doors on 16 units in my townhouse complex. The technician came before noon on Wed., 8/19, immediately found the problem and explained my options. I chose the MarantecM 4700e door opener, which is drive belt, very quiet, and has a lifetime warranty. Spencer (the technician) scheduled the installation for 8/20/09 between 10 a and noon and was here about 11:30 a. which worked with my schedule. It took him about an hour to complete the work; he cleaned up all debris, programmed the remotes and explained completely how the opener works. He was very pleasant and completely professional, what I expect from Pioneer Door Inc, since I have had previous experience with them. He also told me to call anytime if I have any questions in the future.

My garage doors had seen much better days and were putting stress on the openers. They face south and endured direct sunlight (and rain when we got it). I was looking for roll-up doors, but the way our building was constructed left no head room making this solution impossible. Alan Hill was able to work around my schedule and inspected the garages for possible solutions. He very promptly submitted three options, very clearly laid out and all costs outlined. He was incredibly patient about the time it took to come to a decision. (I should explain that we a small condo building so more than one decision had to be made). The crew that he sent to install the doors was efficient, friendly and very neat. The installation went smoothly and the solution to alter roll-up doors to solid tilt doors was a great success. My garage floor and driveway were cleaner than when they started. I could not be happier with my new doors. They look beautiful and the insulation has made an incredible difference in the amount of heat that used to get into the garages. I know that should there ever be any problem with the doors, it will be taken care of with the same professionalism.

They are just magnificent, I can't say enough. They did such a wonderful job and we tell everyone we know about them. I thought the price was really fair - we had recieved quotes from competitor's that were double his price. The quality of the work was great.

Alan, the owner of the company, arrived on time and patiently discussed my needs with me. The door we agreed to have built and installed was actually much better than I even imagined it could be. His installers were prompt and courteous, and installed my garage door with perfection. I later needed a technician to return to address a minor concern and received this additional attention immediately and completely hassle-free. Obviously, customer service is given as high a priority with Alan as the exceptional quality of his product. I sincerely wish Pioneer also did roofing and building construction; if this were the case, that would make my decision about who will do this additional work for me very easy. I have had some rather bad experiences with contractors lately. My experience with Pioneer Doors has restored my confidence in the profession. I couldn't be more pleased with Pioneer Door. They were prompt and efficient. It was such a relief to deal with them. Alan provided an estimate with a quick turnaround. At each turn Pioneer delivered. I recently called them for a repair. They are so wonderful to deal with. Prompt responsive, a treat! I would recommend them highly and plan to use them on another project shortly. Although their price was higher than others, their product was different. They understand architecture and offered the right solution for my apartment.
