Marathon is an excellent company. Ray, the owner of the company, is both knowledgeable and reputable. He also hands on and does a lot of the work in the field which is what I am looking for when I hire a company. Ray has always been very good dealing with any issues that might arise.

Over the years members of our family have had Marathon install & service 3 heating/AC. We would recommend them to anyone.

We had one window air conditioner, one wall heater, and a fireplace for many years. When we decided to get central air and heat, Ray from Marathon came out to our home. He was friendly and very professional. When the work was done, the crew took great care to do a great job and assured that there was no mess whatsoever (inside or out). We have a representative come out once or twice a year to check both units and change filters. They all have been a pleasure to deal with. It's been over 10 years and we haven't had any problems at all. This kind of pride of workmanship and service just doesn't occur much anymore. You can't beat Marathon for both!

Marathon always does excellent work on my HVAC system and for my neighbors in our condo building. Their prices are reasonable and they take care in their work and of our property. I would highly recommend Marathon.

It was over 90 degrees and the central A/C compressor was not turning on. I called on June 10th at 2:30pm to schedule an appointment to have a service tech come out. I explained that it was for my 85 year old mother that is in home Hospice for end stage Parkinson's and was worried about heat stroke. I was told that they would call me back right away to schedule an appointment. They had to check the service tech's schedule. It is now June 13th 4:30pm and have yet to receive a call. Luckily I had the foresight to call Air-Tech HAC service which gave me an appointment right then on the phone. They responded on time and my mother's A/C is now working at a reasonable cost while still waiting for Marathon HVAC to call be back to schedule an appointment.

The service representative did some tests, and determined that a new air handler was needed.

There was kind of a bit of an issue so they have been to our house about four or five times from just before Christmas until yesterday and it has finally been taken care of. They fixed the wrong thing and they had to come back and fix it correctly, but they did it. They have all been very pleasant and tried their best. They just made an error in diagnosing the problem.

Sergio pressure tested the a/c, found the leak, welded it shut, and recharged the a/c. It took a couple of hours and cost $465. He is very competent, knowledgeable, and honest. I am very happy I called Marrathon.

They did a great job with the installation and we have had no issues. One note - I would have liked them to do the duct work in the attic less obtrusively, but I did not give them any direction, and I am sure they assumed we never used the attic. I should have been more clear with instructions.

Ray was prompt in providing the quote for the job, answered our questions clearly and gave good suggestions. Julio, his supervisor, was hardworking and professional. His great team completed the installation efficiently within 2 days.. They cleaned up and disposed of all the old stuff when the job was completed. Monique, his office manager, was very patient in helping us with the repeated revisions to the invoice needed for our rebate application. Ray is a nice guy who runs his business well and we enjoyed working with him and his team. We would gladly recommend Marathon HVAC.

They are great, and we will continue to use them in the future. They are punctual, responsive, friendly and definitely know what they are doing!

Starting with the phone call, the receptionist was friendly in a personal way, not in a business way andI liked that! I called from out of state and looked on Angie's List to find someone trustworthy to service my mother's A/C unit and saw the great reviews for Marathon. My mom is a senior and lives alone so would not sleep with the windows open and temperature was 84 in the house. I scheduled the appointment for the next day, but was pleasantly surprised to get a call a little later that it could be done that afternoon as they were in her area. Ray was so friendly and gave my mom confidence that he was doing only work that was needed and laughed at an estimate she was given from another company that wanted to change out numerous parts and charged three times as much. We have found a heating and A/C company for life! Friendly, professional, considerate, accommodating and reasonable. What a blessing.

One of the problems that we had, besides the general filter cleaning and service needed, was that the air conditioning wasn't cold. The service/repair was performed in a quiet, thorough and professional manner. The technician answered all our questions and got everything working very nicely. The only truly minor issue was that the technician showed up just about two hours earlier than expected. Not normally a problem but I wasn't there at that time. Lucky for me, my wife was home, otherwise we would've missed the tech! Would highly recommend Marathon HVAC !!

It was good and everything went great. I was going to use his services again but I never recieved a phone call back.

The installation of my air conditioning and new heat could not have gone more smoothly. Ray was incredible-- promptly responded to all of my (endless) questions, without ever showing even a hint of being annoyed (I know I would have been if someone had been asking me all those questions!). He provided honest advice when I had to make a decision (what level of efficiency was needed? what was overkill? does an air purifier really work?). He was reasonably priced compared to others I had spoken with. He was fast-- start to finish, we went from no air conditioning at all to central air in 2 1/2 days. There was no mess to clean. His team was very professional. I even used his electrician to install lighting in my house! It was a win win on all fronts. Ray is honest and hardworking. I will definitely be using him again and highly recommend him!

He allowed me to watch his work and ask questions. He was professional and answered all my questions. His parts were a little pricy. However, he knew what he was doing and fixed our problem.

The service provided was excellent. The owner called me back immediately to schedule an appointment and was able to come service the heater the following day. He needed to find a part (it's a pretty old heater) and came a few days later to complete the job. Upon further inspection, additional repairs were needed, but the price was very reasonable and I felt that they were very honest in their estimation of price and work needed. I would definitely hire them again.

Marathon fixed all that was wrong with my installation of my furnace, in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner. Their price was very reasonable and fair and they gave me an honest assessment of what what necessary. I am a customer for life!

Great. I called, owner came out gave me a quote, guys came back later that day and did the job. They noticed that my return was old, dirty and didn't have a way to replace a filter. Came back on Thursday and installed a new screen and brought a box of filters.

The experience was smooth. I felt like Ray knew what he was doing. He made me feel very comfortable.

I called Marathon on a hot summer afternoon because my A/C compressor was not starting up. The woman who answered and took my information was quite pleasant, and we made the appointment for 3pm the next day. The next day, she called in the morning to confirm the appointment and tell me who to expect. Sometime around 1:30pm, she called to let me know that the tech was running late at his then-current job and would arrive about 30 minutes later than expected. The tech did arrive a little before 4pm and quickly set to work. He was efficient and clearly explained to me what he was doing. I have a technical background and was curious about A/C and had lots of questions. He engaged me in friendly conversation; at no time did I feel he was forced or talking down to me. Before he left, he told me how much the visit would cost and that Marathon would invoice me for the work. The invoice arrived a couple of weeks afterwards, and was within $5 of the amount given.
