Schroeder's Pool Service

I would NEVER recommend this pool cleaning service provider to my friends. The service was very expensive for the work performed. I had Evan Schroeder cleaning my front yard fountain which measures just 3 1/2 feet in diameter. It's tiny! He charged $35/week for this service. On more than one occasion, Mr. Schroeder indicated the motor to the fountain was not working properly, and that he would bring someone with him to remove the center piece (which is heavy) to investigate. This never happened. The service was spotty as Mr. Schroeder often took vacations with little warning. And finally, I realized Mr. Schroeder had ceased cleaning my fountain last week, causing the water inside to deplete so much that the engine practically burned out. When I sent Mr. Schroeder a message asking if he had stopped servicing the fountain, he replied saying he HAD ceased service due to non-payment of outstanding bills. At that point, I explained to Mr. Schroeder that my husband, Scott Olivet, was supposed to be paying the bill but that he was being nasty due to our ongoing divorce proceedings. I offered to pay Mr. Schroeder all past due amounts and asked if he would begin servicing the fountain again. He never replied to my message. I sent another message to Mr. Schroeder the following day and he still did not reply. I found his lack of response to my messages totally unprofessional. And, as icing on the cake (or not!), Mr. Schroeder finally responded to my third message, but only because I told him that I intended to review him on Angie's List. In summary, Schroeder's Pool Service is: too expensive for the service(s) received, unreliable in terms of scheduling, not good at meeting commitments, and highly unprofessional in the way he/they handle customer issues/concerns. Get the word out: Schroeder's Pool Service Stinks!!!
