Description of Work: Our neighbors were looking to replace their fence. We are adjoining them and were looking to replace our gate as it was rotting. We were a little wary of the contractor as we had no knowledge of them. This is how we subscribed to Angies List. The references were good so we decided to go ahead. The staff were great and Mike explained everything. I happened to be away when they started but it was on the day they said they would. My wife was concerned over the alignment of the fence. I called Mike and his explanation made sense to me and I was able to make my wife feel at ease. When I returned most of the work was complete and I was very happy. This was a very good experience and I can definitely recommend them. The staff were polite and when asked to move their truck so we could move our car they were polite and accommodating.

Description of Work: I visited the showroom on 6/19/14 around noon and met Mike Thompson. He clearly had something better to do since he handed me a brochure, rattled off a spiel about the California EPA regulations on vinyl manufacturing, and ushered me out the door. When I tried to ask a question, he repeatedly interrupted and attempted to answer a question that I was not asking. I can't imagine doing business with an overbearing pushy salesperson like this.

Description of Work: Actually they did work for us in 4 stages. Nov 2012 they did 2 patio covers, a fence and gate, and a 18 foot electric gate. May 2013 they installed a 100' fence. In August they installed a55' fence and a front courtyard gate and a picket fence.

Description of Work: I used Saddleback Vinyl Products about 4 weeks ago and we had 2 fences put in with 4 gates by them.

Description of Work: I went down to Saddleback Vinyl, strangely the receipt I have the business is First Choice Vinyl Products. I went into the showroom, my father called ahead and advised we wanted to come in see the product and place an order. I found a nice lattice type product, we advised the measurements and were advised that it would take about seven days to fabricate. Based on the showroom, one would presume the fabricated product would be assembled except the when I arrived the product was uncut, unassembled and being a bit in a time crunch, since our daycare was set to open in four days. I place my order on July 26, and could not pick it up until August 9rd. The parts were uncut and the lattice can be purchased at any home depot for $29, I was charged $57. All during the sale, I heard the word fabrication numerous times, never once was I advised I would be getting uncut pieces unassembled sections. I had to assemble and cut all pieces to my specifications, what is the sense of them showing you something and not advising that you had to cut and put it together yourself. I called and only got voicemails, I sent a similar email to the email addresses on their website and no reply. THis is your classic bait and switch, what should have taken an hour or two at the most to install ended up taking six hours. Further, I was never advised about installation process during the purchase process. What I saw in the showroom is what I presumed would be what I would be getting. If what I saw in the showroom was not what I was getting I would presume I would have been advised. Fabrication is the only word I heard during my purchase process. It states clearly on the Receipt I was to received 3ft high lattice/enclosed picket by 6 ft wide. It also states All order must have fence & gate diagrams prior to order. Why generate fence and gate diagrams and have me initial them if I am getting pieces I have to cut to fit. None of the pieces were fabricated to my specifications, I was advised this was because they could not generate them accurately, I was advised how to assemble these materials, when my father and I picked it up. My father is a 70 year old seasoned citizen whom likes to talk, makes no difference, I the purchaser should have been advised at the time of purchase not at the time of picking up materials I paid for in full and needed since my daycare was opening in four days. I did complain about the quality of the material I was charged $56 for lattice I could get at home depot for $23. This company states customer service is # 1 priority on its website, and brochures, do not use this company there are plenty of vinyl places. They do not appreciate there customers, I went by what there website said, and I got burned.
