They are not thorough and are expensive and it sometimes takes a while to get a response for questions regarding tree removal, etc. The fee is monthly.
Description of Work: They take care of basic mowing and edging. We have been using them for about a year.

Leo Jr. was easy to talk with as he speaks native English, and felt when he first started working at my house that my garden would be in good hands. He told me that his father started the business, and that he, Leo Jr. was taking on part of the company himself, but his father had a lot of information about gardening from years of experience in landscaping and gardening. I was pleased that Leo Sr. was able to repair a problem with a downspout that drained into our garden drainage system. Although Leo Jr. came every week consistently as he promised, there was a discrepancy between the quality of what I had expected his work to be and what actually happened. I was under the impression that he would maintain the weeds weekly; in reality he worked each week on different sections of the yard, allowing weeds in other sections he didn't work on that week to grow. The result was that at no time did our entire garden look good. I found that when I asked him specifically to do a task, he would do most of what I asked him to do, but not all. He kept the lawn green and mowed. He did not keep a close eye on the weeds, which got somewhat out of control while he was working for us. He didn't keep bushes and plants trimmed and their shapes defined, resulting in the flower beds becoming a tangled mass of brown and green leaves and dead flower heads. A flowering hedge that sits up against a wall of the house became so out of control that it fell over from its own weight, landing on other plants and depriving those plants from getting water or sun. Even though Leo was aware of this problem, he didn't have the time to resolve the problem until a week after the hedge fell over, and other plants suffered as a result. During the time that Leo was working on our yard, I lost a peach tree and an azalea bush that were next to each other, that we had had for many years. When I dug up the dirt to plant a new tree to replace what had died, we discovered a massive amount of water underground. Possibly the plants were getting so much water that wasn't draining properly, and these two old plants may have died from too much water around their roots. I feel that Leo did an average job on our garden, but charged a premium price. I would have been more comfortable with him charging me less for the work he did, which was good but not worth as much as I paid.
Description of Work: This company provides weekly gardening services for residential homes. They mow the lawn, blow the flower beds, maintain weed and snail control and add fertilizers when needed. They oversaw how much water the plants needed and adjusted the sprinklers and timer. I paid $165 a month for their services, double what my previous gardener charged.
