Overall, it was fine, but there were some issues along the way. It took two days and after the first day, the electrician and his assistant left a terrible mess in our house that we were still living in. They did not vacuum up all the dry wall dust that had gotten all over our house, our furniture, our food and our baby bottles. It would have been smarter to lay down some sort of drop cloth beforehand, I would think, We spent two hours cleaning after they left. Also, they left a big hole in our stucco on the outside and also installed a light out side our French doors too close to the door. We cannot ever open that door all the way anymore. And with the wind in our area, we have to put a stop behind the door so that the wind doesn't blow the door open into that lighting fixture that they installed.

Scott is awesome and I cannot recommend him enough! I called him up for a work estimate and not only was he really easy to reach but he was also very prompt at scheduling time for me. He showed up and provided me with a quick estimate while walking me through everything that would need to be done, and was able turn around and do the work within a week. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work he provided. While he was there he also took the time to briefly talk to me regarding another electrical project I had in mind for the future. He is super friendly and communicated with me every step of the way.

Some wiring required cutting into drywall which was done to leave as minimal repair as possible. Fair prices and great work, left everything very clean after they finished. Very satisfied.

Scott was punctual, friendly and professional. He and his assistant worked very fast and got the jobs done in the estimated time. I would use him again if I needed electrical help.

Arrived on schedule, undertook through check of our electrical switches and dimmers and replaced high ceiling lights with warm LED bulbs. Also checked under cabinet kitchen lights that wear powered through a transformer that our contractor had hidden behind the fridge. Was able to locate and find a replacement part and all working now. Knowledgeable and helpful with the work completed on schedule and within budget.

Ideal! Scott contacted us immediately. The service was outstanding, patient and professional. There was great follow-up and clear communications. The work was completed without issue (during a hot afternoon in the attic) and the site was cleaned up as if they'd never been there. I called several other electricians and none of them would come out and give me a quote without charging me. How do you quote a job over the phone. Scott came out in the early morning (only time I could meet) and looked over the job, gave me some options and a quote on the spot without charge. He did not pressure me to commit to the job. Scott called in advance to remind me of the scheduled work. On the day of the work, Scott and crew were right on time, had all the parts and did the work flawlessly. The were no signs of debris and everything look as it should, professionally done. The price was less expensive than what I was quoted by others and even less expensive than a few friends I knew who had the same work done. I found Scott Berryhill on Angie's List and called him to set up an appointment. When he came, he Initially thought the problem was with the wall switch but he quickly found out it was elsewhere. It turned out the the problem was with loose wiring in one of the canned lights. He went up into the attic and found and fixed the problem. This was all done in under an hour so I just needed to pay him $95 dollars. Currently he charges $95 for the first hour and $75 for the 2nd etc. I prefer to pay someone by the hour for a small job rather than getting a fixed quote which I usually feel is too high and causes a workman to try to get the job done as quickly and hastily as possible. I liked Scott. He comes across as a very honest, kind, and good person. This was a very small job but I would definitely call him again.

It didn't go; I only heard from Berryhill Electrical once after reaching out to them on 10 different occasions. After over a month of trying to firm up a date, I bailed.

Scott did a great job, as always. Previously, he fixed our breakers and found an error made by a past electrician. The price is fair, Scott does excellent work and I highly recommend Berryhill Electric.

GAVE AN ESTIMATE THAT WAS REASONABLE. DISCUSSED VARIOUS OPTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE JOB. LISTENED TO MY INPUT. RAN WIRING FROM SUB-PANEL TO WALL CABINET FOR OVEN. INSTALLED RECEPTACLE FOR OVEN IN WALL CABINET. ATTACHED REQUIRED ELECTRICAL PLUG TO OVEN. INSTALLED OVEN. RESPECTFUL, PROMPT, COURTEOUS, ARRIVED ON TIME. CALLED HIM AFTER HE LEFT TO MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND WILLING TO COME BACK TO MAKE THE ADJUSTMENT.

Scott was very courteous and professional as was his coworker. They did a good job of adding new box replacing the old GFI outlet, routing a line to the Hunter controller and providing a conduit for my Gardner to connect the wiring from the sprinkler heads he was installing. To enable auto watering of new Sod I was having installed I bought an Angie's List Electrical Service Deal on 20 Mar with Bold Electric and had been hoping they would call and get the job done that week. With no response from Bold to several phone calls and emails the prior week I called several local plumbers noted on Angie's list On 28 Mar as I needed the Hunter Controller ready to go by 2 Apr when my new Sod would be installed. Berryhill got back to me the same day I called them and they were able to do the job on Wednesday. Bold did get back to me on the 29th and I scheduled some additional work with them under the Deal. More on that in their review.

Scott arrived on time. Checked out the job. Gave me a few options. All work was completed as agreed. Fast. Efficient. Polite. Was a problem solver and explained options.

AMAZING!!! I called Scott after getting two other quotes. I was on a very tight timeline and he came out on his way to another job near my area. He was very well priced- but what I liked about Scott was his ideas and way he mapped out exactly what would need to be done in what order and how it would be done. He was fortunately ready to start the next day and him and his crew of two other guys were extremely efficient and did a phenomenal job! Scott even coordinated with his drywall guy, to come out and complete the work that day- which allowed it all to be completed before my deadline. They covered everything, moved necessary furniture and cleaned up after themselves and left my house as if they were never there- but much brighter! There are no signs of any holes or wire work. Scott was hands down one of the most prompt, honest, helpful, and talented tradesman I've ever had and we've done a lot of work to our house. I love my lights and ceiling fan and will be contacting him very soon for additional lighting and electrical jobs.

For the service itself, everything went well. Scott was professional and courteous, and did the job well. I did have to help him hold the chandelier while he installed it, though, which I was more than happy to do. Part of the deal from Angie's list was that additional time could be purchased at $60/hr. He was too busy that day to be able to do any other work, but said he would honor the Angie's List price and would come back again when he was in the area. He had advised me on a flourescent light in the garage that needed either a new fixture or ballasts changed out. I was tempted to do it myself, but with recent fires in the garages at other houses, I decided it was best for a professional to do it. My issue was that he never came back for the garage fixture. Never contacted me. I sent him an email a few months later, reminding him that he had agreed to come back out, and he said he would give me a day or two notice before he would come. That was over six months ago. I have since had someone else do the job, the son of a friend who is an electrician. I would have used my friend's son to do the other work, but knew he was busy and didn't want to bother him. If you are just looking to have the work done from the Angies List deal, and no extra time, it was well worth the cost, even with paying the extra $16.50 he charged for the wiring and electrical box needed for the ceiling. Just don't count on him coming back unless you want to pay whatever his full price would be.
