Scott showed up to my house on time and got straight to work. I had a smoke alarm that kept chirping and wouldn't stop! He did some troubleshooting on the alarms and then recommended that I replace the existing ones with new ones. He replaced 7 alarms and then I had him install GFI electrical plugs into two of my bathrooms. The work was done efficiently and very professionally. I would definitely recommend Scott to my friends and to all of the Angie's list subscribers!

Scott Berryhill provided quote for the job and showed up right on time on 1/28 to do the work. Scott did an excellent job on the light install and exceeded my expectations. The job took longer than Scott anticipated but he stuck to his original quote and did not ask for more money. I also took advantage of an Angies List offer for two hours of electrical work for $89. Scott installed 2 inside dimmers and an outside electrical outlet for the $89 + parts, an excellent value! Will use Scott again for more in the near future. I would highly recommend Scott as he is a competent and honest electrician, something that is hard to find these days

I originally signed up with Scott Berryhill because of an Angie's List deal that ran during December of 2014. Scott contacted me and came out to the house to check the old panel. I asked him if we could put off the work until after the holidays so we scheduled the upgrade for mid-January. On the day the work was done Scott showed up on time and got right to work. He had one helper and it was obvious they both knew what they were doing. The job went smoothly and Scott had the power back on in about six hours. Considering the amount of work that needs to be done when replacing an electrical panel I thought that was very fast. During that time they also replaced about 10 old outlets throughout the house and fixed a few small problems in the garage. I will definitely use Scott in the future for my electrical repair needs and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Scott did fantastic work. He is very professional, punctual and his work is very high quality. I would highly recommend him for future jobs. I have had him back to my house twice on additional projects.

Scott Berryhill was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. He reviewed my mess of a junction box and gave me a workable solution since I had an underground line that was shorting out. He also identified some other wiring issues in my garage, but didn't give me the hard sell. He has been added to my rolodex of top rate contractors.

He found the problem, a lose connection, which he fixed and also fixed a light switch connection. He also tested my electrical panel and measured the line amps going to the oven. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would use again.

There was some misinformation in the Big Deal details and as it turns out since I have a 200 amp unit it would be an extra $400. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice and up front about everything. Since there was the additional cost and the need of acquiring permits to do the work I have decided to not go forward with the service. I have requested a refund from Angie's List. I would use them for future work.

Scott did a super job. He spent about 3 hours completing the job but honored the 2 hour price even thought I offered to pay him more..what a guy. I plan to have him back soon to install a few more switches and will certainly use him on any upcoming electrical work. .

Scott went "above and beyond" in what I had anticipated in having these repairs done. He was fast, efficient, and capable; and after completing the assigned work, he made other repairs at NO EXTRA CHARGE. I will probably hire him again for some optional future work I may consider. Scott (the owner) was quick to respond to my request for help, and was prompt and on time for my scheduled appointment. First he repaired each of the four broken electrical wall outlets by replacing and re-wiring them. He used a special hand-held device in order to test and assess the Voltage in each of the outlets. It was obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing. His approach was very structured and methodical and he was happy to answer any questions I had regarding his work. One of the things I MOST APPRECIATED was that after he made these repairs, he then proceeded (at his suggestion) to test and correctly label each of the individual breaker switches on my Circuit Breaker Panel at "NO EXTRA CHARGE" because I had some "extra time remaining on the clock." It turns out that my Circuit Breaker Panel was only partially labeled (at best) which had caused confusion in the past. Hence, after Scott (and his assistant) correctly identified the function and location of each of the Circuit Breaker Switches, he then correctly "labeled" them on the Breaker Panel so there would be no further uncertainty in determining the exact function of each switch. Finally, he offered some suggestions for optional repairs that I might consider in the future. He was careful to explain to me which suggestions were recommended for "code compliance," and which suggestions were purely optional. I APPRECIATED that at no time did he use any type of "hard sell" tactic. IN SUMMARY, this was a pleasant change from experiences with other contractors who sometimes seem try to "upsell" you with repairs you really don't need. Also there are occasionally other contractors who are in a great hurry just to do the bare minimum, and then rush off as soon as possible. This was certainly NOT the case here with "Berryhill Electrical Contracting." I would not hesitate to hire Scott again, and/or to refer him to a friend or neighbor.

I had purchased a "deal' $89 for two hours work with this company. Scott (owner) arrived on time with a student assistant. After listening to what I wanted started and ended the work in 1 hour of the two hours that I contracted for. He completed the work in a professional and helpful manner and provided me some approximate costs for additional work which I may contract with in the future. After the work was completed that evening I noticed some flickering of lights. I called Scott back and he returned that next day to look at the potential cause. He replaced a fuse and said that there was corrosion that could be causing the flickering as well. He did not charge me for the visit and said that my 'left over' hour would cover the cost. I did think his hourly rate was a bit high out side of this promotional rate to return and rub off the corrosion on a plate . I would have no hesitancy to recommend his services.

Scott is a nice guy, clean and efficient. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

In 2 hours and 20 minutes, Scott inspected the panel, checked all circuits for damage and corrosion, checked all electrical outlets in the home, replaced 20 electrical outlets and 4 light switches. He was professional, responsive to questions, and I am already planning to hire him again.
