Description of Work: Refinished all kitchen cabinets, wine room cabinets, finished paint grade built ins (wall unit, desk and window seat), refinished certain pieces of furniture, painted large front doors to house.

Description of Work: We have had Tom & staff (mainly son) finish new wood doors and refinish all our windows, exterior clad and interior stained wood. Price reflects several separate jobs. This has been a completely positive and wonderful experience. We really prefer working with a family firm and this is that. you are always working with the same couple of people who have such expertise. When we got the first bid for new french doors (an upscale door company had given us their name) we were a bit taken back, but by the time they finished we wondered how they could do the work for that price. We have never experienced such complete professionalism (they can alter the chemical make up of paint/stain according to the weather). They did many coats in a single day; we couldn't believe it. Even when sanding they are so clean and careful we were able to continue working in the same room (the smell of stain/finishing is another matter but not to be avoided). Could go on and on about details, but you get the picture. Absolutely up on the latest materials and techniques The clad exteriors used a product new this year. Yet when necessary he can use older --our interiors required using compatible older finish and he spent a lot of time talking to Pella about an old line to get replacement parts and learn how to install on that line. And on top of that everyone we have worked with in the family is so friendly, you feel you've made friends as well as having work done.
