So I called the guy (Miguel) we spoke on the phone and agreed for him to do an onsite visit the next day at 5pm for an estimate. I gave him my address, contact information and and any pertinent information he needed. Next day, 5pm comes and goes...no Miguel? I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and called to followup (might be stuck in traffic or car trouble or something)...what do you know his voicemail isn't set up to receive messages?? After numerous text messages to his phone with no reply I decided to just give up. Looks like he wasn't interested (or too busy) for my business after all!

On time, Professional, conscientious

They have been consistent with our lawn care every week and fixing problem areas with fertilizer and weed killer that need to be taken care of.

We have since started weekly service and that has been wonderful. Great job!

I've been using Miguel's service since I moved into our neighborhood 7 years ago. He's replaced sprinkler valves and system controls for our automatic sprinkler system. The most I've paid for his service is about $65, and that included the parts. Today, after not being able to run our sprinklers for over a week, he came in, checked all of the lines and found that our control valve was not open all the way. Minor fix for a major headache! We also have some mold/algae growing on our retaining wall and thought for sure our sprinkler lines were ruptured. He got out his shovel, started to pull out the weeds that have been loving the extra water from the leak, and found that it was the neighbor's system that was leaking a large stream into our yard. Luckily for us, he also does the landscape/sprinkler maintenance for our neighbors, so he's going to fix it from their side this weekend. When I asked how much I owed him for his work, he told me "nothing." He has done this before for us: He never charges us for the little things that he knows we could have fixed ourselves if we'd been able to locate the problem. I even offered to pay for his time, but he refused! Miguel is one of those hard-to-find business men who actually puts the customer before himself and his pay! He always jokingly reminds me that I might need him for something much bigger in the future, and he's right - and he's the only one I will call. However, he could still charge me for his time, but he just doesn't. As a side note, he also told me today that he and his sons, who work with him in the family business, have been licensed and bonded for concrete/retaining wall work. I haven't used him for this, but need some concrete laid in the backyard. I know I'll call Miguel when I'm ready to move forward because he's amazing. I couldn't be happier that I found him.
