My tile roof trapped tree debris in the valleys after every Santa Ana resulting in several roof leaks over the years. Mike innovated a repair that closed up the valleys. Even after high winds, there is very little debris from the eucalyptus tree collecting on the roof...it just doesn’t get caught in the valleys.

Mike came and reviewed everything he could see while on the roof with me. Though we knew he couldnt see below the tiles, he provided me with his estimate with an anticipated caveat that when exposed things could change from a price perspective. Work started about a week later, and was done in but a few days. His team worked quickly and in unison throughout. Though my roof is over 20 years old, Mike was able to locate tile that was very close in color, and will no doubt fade over time and blend in with my existing tile. There were no major surprises and the end price was right at the estimate Mike provided in the beginning. I wouldn't hesitate to refer McKay roofing to anyone else who is in need of roofing repair/replacement.

He is very good. He was on time. He gave good estimate. Everything was done correctly and provided quality work.

Mike came to estimate the effort. He was on time and courteous. He went up to the roof to inspect the damage. He explained the problem but wouldn't give a written estimate and would not give warranty because it is a repair job. I did not use his service.

THE OWNER DROVE 35 TO 40 MILES TO COME OUT HERE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, DID A GREAT JOB, VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH, AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN. HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS GOOD. THE ROOF HASN'T LEAKED AGAIN.

VERY COMPETENT, EXCELLENT WORK ETHICS, AND DOES ANY KIND OF ROOFING JOB. SHAKE ROOFS ARE NOT THAT COMMON IN OUR AREA, AND IT WAS COMFORTING TO FIND A CRAFTSMAN THAT COULD STILL WORK ON THESE TYPES OF ROOFS.
