hardwood floor
+ -1 moreThe whole job took approximately a week and turned out great. Really its better than great. Every morning I sit at my table eating a bowl of cereal and admiring the work these guys did. The sun hits it a certain way in the morning and the color is just amazing.Golden Honey colored goodness. Kelly's initial quote was right in the middle and with the added repairs he's was still under two other Vendors who frankly did seem to care whether they got the gig or not.. Kelly and his crew were well worth the money!
Description of Work: I bought a House built in 1904 with painted Hardwood floors. Kelly Hennessey was the only Vendor who warned me that we may find things under the paint that we may not like. Stains, botched repairs, etc. He did a test sand and found beautiful White Oak. We moved forward! Once all the paint was removed, we discovered some repairs that had been done with Red Oak vs White and they were not blended well. Kelly modified his Quote and we moved forward. The Red Oak was removed and replaced plus blended to match well. This was a challenge for them because there were three different areas that this work had to be done on. They just did it and made it all look so easy. Very impressive.

+ -1 moreTHE WORKERS WERE ON TIME AND VERY COURTEOUS. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PATCH WORK, BUT THEY WERE QUICK TO RETURN AND FIX IT AT NO CHARGE.
Description of Work: STRIPPED, PATCHED, SANDED AND FINISHED THE FLOORS.
