Description of Work: Called Rainbow for an estimate to put elastomeric coating on "leaky" south facing wall. Tony showed up on time and suggested the problem may be drainage related and suggested we try fixing that before coating wall. We took his advice and are still waiting for a storm to see if that works. Tony basically talked us out of hiring him (or anybody else) to fix a problem that he didn't think would be fixed by his services. If our fix doesn't work, we'll definitely call him back.

 + 0 moreThey arrived on the date specified and finished right on target. They did a great job matching the original paint and trim.The house is completely surrounded by large foundation plantings and planters. They were very careful and covered or moved all of the plants so that nothing was damaged. There was a lot of peeling of old paint on the eaves and they sanded and scraped that all off. They caulked split siding and windows that needed to be done. They painted the gutters and even painted the overhanging roof shingles so there would be a nice sharp edge. The front door looks beautiful! Cleanup was complete and spotless. The only negative would be a little bleeding of paint through the tape on the window trim - not a big deal. The biggest positive about the experience speaks to the character of the individual I was dealing with. They continued the jobover Mother's Day weekend. Fed Ex delivered roses to the house after I had left for the weekend. Tony found them on myfront porch the next morning and took them to a local florist and asked that they take care of them until I returned on Monday sothey wouldn't be ruined. How many contractors would take time out of a job to do something so considerate? You can't gowrong with character like that! I definitely recommend Rainbow Painting and will hire them again.
Description of Work: Sanding, scraping, washing, caulking, priming & painting my 2500 sq. foot single level home with quite higheaves. They also dismantled and removed a worn out enclosure around the water softener.
