Description of Work: Cabinet Refacing, Custom Cabinets for 2 bathrooms built, Trim work

Description of Work: Gary came to meet us and give us an estimate on cabinet refacing versus replacing. He does both. We had another estimate from a competitor that came in approximately $1300 higher. Gary also furnished us 3 pages of references, which we found quite reassuring. We had him reface our structurally sound, but otherwise outdated fruitwood-colored 1970s kitchen cabinets with shaker-style cherry finished alder and glass doors with grids. He installed the soft close door hinges (my husband is a slammer - but no more!) which we love. He also built us a custom cabinet in our master bathroom for storage and two closet organizational systems, which we are quite happy with. We are now having him come back to do all the trim in our newly remodeled house: Doors, ceiling trim, windowsills and baseboards and anything else we can think of that requires a finishing carpenter's expertise. He also fixed our dining room table which is solid oak and was quite wobbly and my husband couldn't make it quite stable. Thanks to Gary, we enjoyed using it during the holidays without fear of wobbling. Gary's work is impeccable, he is professional and his labor is quite reasonably priced. The only "con" to hiring Gary is that he isn't always able to fit us into his schedule right away, but that is because he is usually very busy and in demand.
