Henry and co. renovated our entire backyard and I would absolutely work with them again. I've worked with probably a half dozen different contractors and builders over the years and my experience with Henry was absolutely one of the best. He is great to work with — collaborative, professional, responsive, and flat out a really nice guy. This was a huge project with many twists and turns along the way — months of heavy rain, giant tree roots in unexpected places, faulty irrigation valves, on and on. Henry always persevered and figured out a way through. When we made changes I never felt nickel and dimed. And it truly felt like he had our best interests in mind. What a massive change of pace from other contractors who seem to be primarily concerned with closing out a project (despite open issues) so they can move on to other things. The end result of the project is beautiful. The pricing seemed very fair, especially compared to other companies around the area. Overall, high marks to these guys. Definitely give them a look.

Work crew was friendly, hard-working. Henry was on site supervising and working. They were very professional about always cleaning up thoroughly at the end of the day - something that does not always happen with other landscaping companies. Best of all, almost ten years later, the sump pump is still keeping our house completely dry! The system is a life-saver. It has never failed us. Also, the hinged cover and the box structure are still in great shape. It was worth every penny!
Description of Work: fixed huge drainage problem that was causing our basement to flood whenever it was raining. Henry proposed a solution, provided plans and executed the job efficiently. The job involved excavating a large, deep hole, building a wooden box with wire covered openings, bringing electricity out to the site, installing a heavy duty sump pump, hooking up the pump to underground drainage system to take water out to the street gutter, building a heavy duty but easy to open cover for the sump pump. Oh, and they redesigned the slo pe of our walkway so that runoff would drain to the sump pump instead of creating a "lake." This involved digging, compacting, and some concrete work.
