Description of Work: When I telephoned to schedule an estimate, the owner, Bob Westgate, answered and seemed somewhat distracted. After a discussion about why certain personal issues interfered with his schedule, we agreed on a time and date, but he later called to reschedule. When he did arrive, he was on time and prepared. He spent considerable time discussing various "new" techniques about primer and walked around the entire house looking at all my concerns about the deteriorating trim on my house. When he left, he told me he would provide an estimate by mail within the week. I think the estimate came within about 8 days. The very professionally prepared package contained information about the company, a reference list of various painting jobs performed, a complete and very detailed contract, and another copy of his business card. I did not chose his company because his estimate for the work was almost $1000 over others I'd rec'd from 2 other companies.

Description of Work: Bob and his crew cleaned scraped, identified dry rot, de-lamination and other sun and water damage, talked over repairs and colors and then did exactly what we requested! They power washed our two-story house, sanded, primed put in the elastomeric we requested and then superbly painted the house and trim. At one point I changed my mind on a trim, and the crew graciously and with no extra charge made the changes. They accommodated repairs done by another carpenter, so the project was finished in about a week!
