quick and efficient, they know their stuff. David is a very fair and good to work with. Everything was done to perfection. the only complaint I would have is that they didn't mask enough when spraying texture. Many of my outlets, boxes, wires, coaxial ends, screw holes, were covered with mud and needed to be cut back and cleaned to work again, taking me hours of extra time on the electrical. Any overspray I pointed out when there were here was quickly cleaned, so if i had more time, i'm sure they would have cleaned out the boxes.

I tried to contact company multiple times I called them on my home phone and cell phone and I texted them, but never got any response. I've cancelled the deal and requested a refund from Angie's List. I'm going to work with another company.

Excellent! We are very pleased. They identified the problem as poor quality paint used years ago, scraped and re-plastered all the damaged areas as well as primer on all ceilings. Looks fantastic! Lumpy walls and ceiling are smooth and look like new. Owner and workmen were courteous, flexible, clean and quiet. They did a lot of little extras that we had not thought of. The house looks amazing and we are very happy with their service. Their bid was over 4 times lower than another high rated contractor.

Within 15 minutes of contacting Valenz Painting & Trim through AngiesList, David the owner, contacted me by phone to discuss and came out the very next day to do a walk through to give me an estimate. I had quite a few colors with accent walls. I was given an estimate for the work to be done in about 5 days, he started the following Monday and finished that Friday early. The quality was absolutely great! The home was a brand new construction home, but even David found some flaws which he quickly pointed out and patched up for me. For a separate job, David recommended his buddy that is building custom cabinets for my laundry room. David was also very accommodating as I had other people there to fix issues from the builder. They cleaned up everything perfectly after completing the job better than how the builders left it! I definitely plan to use his services in the future again!

David met with me at the property and assessed the proposed work and potential timing. He submitted a work plan and estimate the following day. After reviewing other estimates, I found David's to be very competitive. We scheduled the work quickly and his crew began the following week. The building condition required an extension of the proposed preparation period, but David's crew persevered. A minor paint mix up at the supplier was quickly and proactively resolved on the day painting began. David was in contact with me throughout the process and was very responsive to my input and inquiries. At project's end, David and crew had done a great job of patching, prepping and sealing a problematic exterior surface. They had executed my desired highlight scheme as well as porch and door treatments. I am very satisfied with their work and it was a pleasure to work with David. I'll be using his services again.

Overall the job went well. When David discovered the sink I had purchased at a big box store was not the right size, he ordered a sink for me and even picked it up. At the last minute I decided I wanted wallpaper, and he was able to put it up. I used him several years ago when I bought my house and was glad he was available to do more work at my house. *I accidentally put this under Exterior Painting.

Excellent job painting and very fast. Both David and Joaquin were very professional and did a very clean job on everything. I highly recommend their services and will be using them for future projects.

It went excellent. They did a great job on the crown molding. We were never happy with the way someone else installed the crown molding in our family room. They removed it and did it the correct way. It looks 100% better. Paint job came out great. They spent significant time doing the prep work which is what makes a great paint job.

I called a couple of times to get an appointment before I got a response. David responded to tell me that he'd show up if I texted him my address, which I did. I had arranged for several contractors to show up on the same day for various things (not just painting) and so I lost track of this vendor when he didn't show up. After everyone had made it through I was comparing all of the quotes I got and noticed that I didn't have his. As such, I called him again to setup another appointment and said he would be there. This time, he texted me 10 minutes after he was supposed to be here saying he wouldn't be able to make it. No explanation or anything. He is obviously not concerned with serving clients. AVOID HIM!!!

David was responsive and professional. He's informative and gave excellent suggestions. David and his team cleaned up after the job. Excellent work, exceeded my expectations.

David and his team were very accommodating and professional. Since we were having trouble deciding on colors, David first recommended an interior designer to help set us up with a color scheme. He then came in and has his team remove all wall plates and outlets covers and carefully tape up windows and wood floors. We discussed the paint type and texture for each room and he painted samples to confirm we were happy with the colors. The team was very patient in working around our contractor who was still working on some areas of the house. (Our contractor was also very complimentary of working with David and his team and their quality of work) Though a construction delay set us back about a day, David was very attentive to detail as he worked to meet our move-in date deadline. He also offered to do several small jobs that were outstanding, such as caulking around our kitchen sink and sealing the granite counter-tops (which were left undone from the previous owner). David and his team worked late the last two nights of the job to insure that every little detail was perfect, no scuff marks or scratches. He was responsive to questions on email and text, personable, and professional. We would recommend David to friends and family and will definitely use again for any future painting needs.

David and his crew did an excellent job! The condo looks terrific, and my husband says I am very particular. The condo is large, and the preparation and painting took as many days as stated in the estimate. They moved all of the heavy furniture, vacuumed behind it, and replaced it afterward, including large bookcases that are attached to the walls. We really appreciate the high quality service. The bid was reasonable, and in the mid-range of the 3 bids that we obtained. David was easy to work with, and we are very pleased.

It's a very good company. I thought the guy went above and above the call of duty. He waited an hour when I got stuck in traffic. I thought he did a really good job. He did a lot of work. The price was within ballpark.

The entire experience went very well. There were a couple of delays due to unseasonal rain, but that's life. David is a great guy. He's extremely helpful and professional. If I had questions or needed to contact him I used Angie's List message service and he responded quickly. During the bidding process I contacted a couple of other painters on Angie's List and was not impressed. After we selected David, he even talked us out of a decision that would have actually saved him money. He wanted to be sure that the job was done correctly. His crew worked very efficiently and were conscientious about clean up. The house was way overdue for new paint. There was a lot of wood and stucco that needed to be scraped and patched, which took quite a bit of time. But the final results are great! And he honored his Angie's List discount offer. Definitely recommended.

Even though this was a small job, David Valenzuela was able and willing to do our project, and with attention to detail. His price was reasonable. My specifications were more than the typical basic trim, there was a lot of detail work involved, and they did everything I asked. David is very professional and eager to do an excellent job. I am quite particular about the quality of work, and even though I pointed out some minor misses in the finishing, David made sure everything was perfect in the end. The trim work is straight and clean, and the painting was very well done. They left everything clean and tidy. This is now the most nicely finished room in the house. We will be having David and his crew back to do the same treatment throughout the house.
