I had 4 women come to my house in Oakland, CA on 4/18/23 they spent 3 hours in my house "doing a deep clean" - what I did not know was,they were looking in my closet and bathroom drawers for anything they could possibly steel - and one of them did 4 days later. Someone broke into my house went straight to my closet stole all of my handbags and jewelry (that was very hidden in my closet! Mr. David Alsup owner of The Maids of Concord will not speak to anyone except the OPD. This man knows that one of his "Maids" burglarized my home (or told someone else where to find my items of interest). I have located a few of my purses on Craig's list for sale out of Los Gatos. Shame on this company for taking $866 from me to only rob me days later

I have used them for more than three years. Very professional, prompt, and high quality work. Pleasant staff.

The staff is excellent. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. A few things were not done as expected. After a phone call, those things were corrected going forward. Supervisors came out periodically to inspect. They were sold to new owners about a year ago and prices went up. Continued to use them until I found someone more affordable. It's unfortunate because this company was convenient an easy to work with but couldnt see spending that much every two weeks. New housecleaner starts this week and will be $57 cheaper per visit.

You (Angielist) are too pushy!

They did an okay job but I wouldn't give them an A, maybe a B. I'd decided I was going to use them, if they worked out okay. Their Deal was to come out and do kind of a full cleaning for the first visit and they did an okay job but they didn't do a great job. The price was average, they were better than a lot of them. They were all pleasant. I would tell a friend that it depends, if you keep your cost low, you'll get probably a good choice, you just won't get as much polishing. It would be fine for me if I was using them just for me but my wife would never put up with it. I think it was going to be maybe $120 a month, for 2 visits a month but the initial visit was like $220 because they were going to do this super clean job which if they had done that well, they probably would have got the job. They just did it kind of fast. They didn't get all the surfaces. The first service is kind of a showcase service.

The cleaners are professional and friendly, they're thorough and efficient, and I never have any problems getting in touch with the office.

Too pricey for what they said they do. Extra charge for everything. There way or the highway or in your wallet you dig for more $$. I never called them back.

A team of 4 arrived within the times estimated, used their own equipment. They spread to different areas and in a little over an hour, it was as if we had a new house. Extremely pleasant and efficient crew with conscientious attention to detail. An equally pleasant and efficient Area Supv. stopped by to check the house and see if I am happy with their service. I have been using them for a couple of years and they are a blessing.

They showed up on time, were courteous and respectful of all the collectibles. They did an oustanding job.

So far Angie's list has been a waste of money for me.

They were extremely thorough. 4 people were the team, 1 being the team leader. After about 1 1/2 hrs., a Supervisor showed up to see how it was going. She checked all the work and had the bathroom person redo the floors. My house is sparkling. They arrived on time. I will use them again. They are neat and professional.

My experience with them was great, but she was a little late getting there because there was an accident on the road. She and her crew finished it that night and it was really well done. She made sure the job got done that day. I was very impressed with them. When it looked liked they might not get finish she called a couple of other people to come out and help out to get it done, that's above and beyond.

The Maids came to do a major deep clean - the house is clean, but needed a deep clean and overall spiffing - up before a party. The workers were professional and thorough, and the house looked great. The service is a little pricey, but as others have said, you get what you pay for. They needed to spend an extra 20 minutes, and called with cost estimates and for approval before charging for extra time.

We started to use them when we moved and needed our old house cleaned. We were very happy with the service so we started using them for bi-weekly cleanings. They are generally pretty good, although the crew of 4 changes from visit to visit. Some are really outstanding and some are just so-so. For instance we had one week where it looked like you could practically eat off the floors, but another week where they used something that left a disgusting film on our marble floors. Some areas of the floors (corners and such) are clearly never getting cleaned, but overall it looks pretty good when they're done. In addition to general cleaning, the couches get vacuumed, the sheets changed on the beds, and the garbage taken out. When I have had a problem with the work, they've been really responsive to my concerns and done something to address the problem (returned to re-clean or give a partial refund). As another reviewer noted they are on the expensive side, but I like them because they come at the time they say they will and I don't have any concerns about getting ripped off. If money if left out it gets put to the side and is always there when we come home. Overall I'm happy with their service and don't plan to change any time soon.

They do a very good job, very fast and efficient. Very punctual. Always polite. It is a bit pricey - I do not have them do the entire house but the reliablity means a lot so to me, it is worth it.

Great service , great job !! These are the hardest working , professional women I ever encountered in recent time. The House ereally needed a god professional cleaning being that I have shoulder problem and my boyfriend has back problem.IThey worked here for almost 3 hrs. They've been cleaning my home for several years. The come about every three months. They have four people come in. They are very polite and punctual. They are very punctual and efficient. They are quick workers and courteous. I would recommend them very highly.

It is a bit expensive for these services.

They send out a crew with a manager. They have training, good service, insurance, and good oversight.

I like their service. They do a great job cleaning and they were willing to negotiate a price that would work for everyone. The price varies depending on how much we need them.
