I don't know when taking pride in the quality and execution of work became "old school,: but, if that is the criteria then Joe Santos is 'old school.' In my experience, Joe is a man of integrity. His prices are fair, his team always shows up on time, the work product is superior, and the job is not "finished" until the client is completely satisfied. Some background: in March/April 2020 I needed to hire a painting crew to completely 're-landscape' the interior of my 2,200+ sq foot new home; there was extensive wall paper removal, crack/damage repairs, drywall/mudding, painting/caulking , and crown molding (the crown molding work is the finest I have ever seen). Joe and his crew got the job done, and made sure I was thrilled with the end result. At the front-end of the process, I vigorously evaluated (6) companies--including several 5-star outfits that are more well known in the area. Joe was not the cheapest, nor was he the most expensive, but it turned out he was, and is, the best.

Joe Santos Painting provided a reasonable estimate for painting the entire house plus doing a few exterior wood repairs. The were busy but they told me when they would start and they started then. They worked diligently and coordinated with me about other issues that cold impact the project. The work started just before the rains came but they worked to the the majority of work done right away. I asked if they could do some additional work and they agreed. We came up with a way for pricing the work. Afterword he scheduled the extra work to avoid the rain. The final price was fair. I would hire again without a doubt.

Joe and his crew did an excellent job of exterior painting for a four-plex I own. They also did some additional carpentry work He was reasonable, on time and I will definitely use him again.

During the prep work(prior to painting) Joe noticed a rotten board in the patio overhang. Joe instructed his crew to remove, then buy and replace the board. It turned out they were pretty good carpenters as well as painters..
