I-Haul

THEY NEVER RESPONDED. Called one day in the morning & left my number. Called later in the afternoon to say it's a land-line, we can't get texts. Nothing. Called the next day once more. Called a fourth time and their mailbox was full, taking no messages. Went to the website and filled out the form with my e-mail address too. No response in over 3 days of trying. Hugely disappointed since all the reviews glow, the website says they support children through donations, and nowhere does it say they're on vacation or shut down. If they don't want the job, they should say so instead of leaving people hanging.

Service itself was great. Major miscommunication on price. I sent photos in advance for a quote of $175. After pickup I was told $475 for full load. Marco settled on $275, more than I could afford, but I didn't feel I had any choice.

Impossible to reach and set up, and then did not show up on scheduled date. So much time and energy to even get them to show up, and then they tried to charge me more claiming their rates went up. When I said that was not right to change it on me he told me just to get a refund from Angie's list and did not care. Almost wanted me to just get my money back and not use them. It was a bizarre experience! Took me about a month to get anyone here.

They did a great job and I would definitely hire again. Communication around scheduling could be a bit improved, but overall I was extremely happy with the job they did.

Marco was incredibly accommodating with our moving schedule and ultimately was able to do the job on a Sunday morning. Two of his team members showed up as scheduled and did a great job with a full truckload in two hours.

It went great! The guy showed up on time, to the exact minute. He was fast without making me feel like he was rushing. He listened to what I wanted. Was courteous. I will use I-Haul again.

He did a great job. Efficient, very pleasant and nice to work with. He had me look through the house one last time to make sure i got everything out that needed to go.

These guys go way above and beyond. I'd have given them a good review if they'd just hauled away all the junk, but they went the extra mile and cleared out the weeds. All if them. Some were 6 feet tall. Made my month, because that's probably how long is have taken to do that.

I've used this company to haul trash before. Very punctual and pleasant crew. The haul went by without a hitch. I plan on using them again.

They were very efficient . Arrived on time , walked the area with me for instructions ; followed request to the letter . Would definitely use their services again

Took a full load on Monday, came back on Tuesday and took the rest. 4 locations: both sideyards, 2 piles in back yard of a large lot. Pavers, firewood, tree branches, old plywood, etc.; they took it all and left the place neat and orderly.

they were quick and efficient. very pleasant to work with. Made sure I was pleased with results before leaving.

I had I-Haul remove a free standing wine storage unit. The unit was located in a spare room which meant it had to be moved from the room, down a hall, and then down the front steps. Prior to their arrival, I had prepared everything by removing the door from the spare room, cleared the walls in the hall of all pictures and mirrors, and checked all the clearances to make sure there would be no other obstructions. The crew of two had brought a refrigerator dolly which apparently had dirt caked on the wheels as there were clumps of dirt in the spare room and down the hall when they left. I knew it would not be an easy task getting the unit down the front stairs but after the unit was down I noted that all the stairs had paint chipped off them and one stair actually was gouged down to the bare wood. From the time the crew showed up until when they left was approximately 20 minutes. When I had called for the service I was told the price would be between $125 and $175 and in no circumstances be more than $200. I understood there were a number of unknowns so a firm price was not realistic. The prep work I did was an effort to make the job easier and go quicker so the cost would be held down. I had been told that one of the crew would tell me how much it was when they were done. Surprise, surprise when I asked and I was told it would be $198, just under that under "no circumstances .. more than $200". It was obvious that price had been decided on even before the crew arrived. I may or may not use I-Haul again if I have anything more to dispose of but if I do have them back it will be under a firm contract with a firm price and after competitive bidding.

Went very well.. Happy with the service and would recommend them.

This is the second time I have used I-Haul. The first time was several years ago. Marco continues to provide excellent service. We set the date and approximate time; then this morning he called to verify the time and followed up after his crew left to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. His crew was careful in moving a very large desk out of an office space and down the hall. There was also a large heavy couch they handled with ease.

Communication was great, by phone, text. Was on time and wanted to come early to start my job. Everything went well, I was very happy when they left and my back yard looked great. Good Job.

Marco responded quickly and had a crew come out righ away to haul away our trash. Marco and his team were prompt, courteous and pricing was fair. We would definitely recommend them again to anyone in the Contra Costa or Bay Area that needs anything hauled away.

Marco text me to let me know of his crews arrival. They were great. Hauled what they could and advised me on how to get rid of the paint. I will definitely use them in the future.

Marco and his crew showed up as scheduled. Called to confirm well in advance and called again on day of service. From the first contact I had confidence I could rely on them to show up. That assurance was important for me due to scheduling needs. The second aspect I liked was having some idea of what it would cost. They price in a fair manner by the fraction of their truck capacity they use and it is reasonable given the dump fees they are charged.

He and his men did an excellent job in removing and hauling away the patio cover and left my yard immaculate. They did it very quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend I Haul for clean up needs.

They returned my call promptly & scheduled for the next day. Called twice to verify when they would be here. Let my yard clean, even picking up dried leaves that came off of the broken branches. In total, they were here less than an hour & our unsightly mess was gone.

It was okay. They did come and charged more than what the advertisement was for because they had one trap and they charged a little more but they did okay. I didn't have any complains with the services it's just that I had to pay them a little more than what Angie's Lists stipulated. It was fine...no problem. I had done them online at that time so they were good.

The experience was great, and the feedback is positive. They did a great job. They were good, they helped us, and they were responsive. I would use them again.
