Avoid at all costs. Company sent technician out to repair air conditioning unit. The technician did it improperly causing a water leak. Haddon has refused to return phone calls or emails to discuss a resolution. They asked for a quote for the repair and haven't responded since. AVOID!!

I purchase my entire system with this company via Home Depot. Had a few issue starting right after I signed the contract. However, unit was installed some minor issues like the attic access print and stucco got damaged during the install process. I let it go and hold my silence. However, less than 5 years old the AC fan stops spinning. I reached out to them since it is under Rheem warranty and of course they are booked. OK waited a few week to today and no show because tech is sick. Still understandable however now I asked more questions about cost and timing. (During the waiting period I started reaching and wish I knew before I buy a Rheem unit, or most new unit no longer have a separate capacitor for the fan). The motor unit "build-in capacitor has failed". It is a $450 parts. Haddon charge $229 for someone to come out "no show" then waited unknown time for the part then unknown cost for the install labor for the part which can end up $500+ with warranty. They told me if I can't I should reach out to other companies for help since there is nothing they can do. I reached to Hometown HVAC and they charge $59 for the inspection and have someone out in a few days. Haddon only want your initial business and want nothing to do with you there after. STAY AWAY and do your research for a company who will take care of you after the sale.

Haddon was horrible. Do NOT use them! It started with details like not having the equipment when they came to install. The installers did shoddy work, left things dirty, and worst of all, let things unsafe. Sharp metal pieces dropped on my child's bed, attic insulation left on the hallway floor when I have a toddler. They finally sent a second team of installers that had to do a lot of rewiring and double checking. It wasn't enough. After being out of town with the system off for a week, we came home to no heat and 34 degree weather. The system STILL hadn't been installed correctly. If I could, I'd have them rip the whole thing out and give me my money back. As it is, I can't even have a different contractor come work on it, as it would void the equipment warranty. Last insult to injury, they said it would look one way installed, but instead they ran a big, ugly bracket on my wall to cover the tubing instead of running them inside the wall. They should have let us know upfront.

What a good experience! Haddon delivered, from the initial representative (Ryan) to the installation crew (Abel and Edwardo) and support from the main office. The replacement of our HVAC system (2 ac units and 2 furnaces plus all the ancillary equipment) was as promised and within the determined budget. Ryan proposed a number of options. He answered all of our questions and provided factual information to help make the best decision based on our needs. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, very courteous, always available and no high-pressure tactics. Believe me, we researched contractors and equipment for HVAC information over several months. Five representatives came to the house and presented their options. Haddon was heads-up, far the best, for equipment, price and our confidence in doing a quality job. The installation crew was professional, very polite, and took utmost care within our house and backyard. The furnaces were replaced in the attic above the second floor. No trivial task to move heavy equipment in that area. There was not so much as a scratch on any wall or moldings. They answered questions as the project proceeded and did an operational review of the system on completion. I have never seen two guys work so hard. The certification by the independent contractor passed easily. The Concord City inspector commented as to the quality of the job as a great installation. Inspection passed as Haddon guaranteed. I have great confidence in Haddon and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their HVAC system. Thank you, Haddon!!!

Work went well. New unit operating well - quiet and on time. Service reps courteous and fast.

Excellent. one day to remove asbestos duct work and 2 days to R&R furnace and a/c. Workers always on time and very courteous and professional.

It went very well, yes they were more expensive but the quality and service was worth it.

We purchased our home last year, went through the struggles of summer and winter with our system not working and too old to repair. Finally had Haddon come out and there salesperson went through a few options of replacement. He looked young but ended up really knowing what he was talking about. We ended up getting a $2,000 rebate back and everything is working great! Really nice to have the air conditioning working for sure! Everyone was very clean and professional, completed the work very quickly as well!

The HaddonTech told me that the main blower motor of my furnace (which also operates the air conditioning unit), had seized and caused the computer board to overheat. They said they needed to replace the blower motor and computer board and thermostat at a cost of $1,600. They went on to add that it would not be good to spend that much money on a furnace that is 20 years old, and recommended that it be replaced. They proposed that I replace the furnace for $2,800 and that I should also replace the Cooling Coil that sits on top of the furnace that is used by the Air Conditioner. They said the Cooling Coil would be another $550 dollars and needed to match the new furnace, which would be a Rheem unit. The new total came to $3,400. I have a Goodman furnace and Air Conditioner; and since they are not a Goodman dealer, I decided to get a second opinion from "Contra Costa Climate Control" which is a Goodman Dealer. They know the system I have very well, and determined that the problem was due to only a blown fuse!! Getting back to Haddon, they said they would not be able to get parts for the furnace (blower motor and computer board) for weeks since the furnace was so old. (20 years) After hearing from Contra Costa Climate Control that I only needed refrigerant, new fuse and some adjustments, I have to say that I don't believe Haddon was honest with me. Even a well-below average Technician knows you check the fuse first and replace it.! Contra Costa Climate Control told me also that the fuse that was in the computer board was missing. This makes me suspicous. How is it that I went from a $3,400 estimate from Haddon to $320 from Contra Costa Climate? I had Contra Costa Climate do the work and my Air Conditioner is running GREAT now! My point here is that you need to let Haddon customers know that they need to get a second opinion or better not use Haddon at all. My recommendation to all customers....this is very important...always use a vendor who is a dealer for the manufacturer of the equipment that you have. And, a note to Angie's List: it would be helpful to your clients if you offered a selection on your Angie's list that would allow a person to sort by the equipment manufacturer. They could then know which dealers to get quotes from and use the top rated Angie's list vendor to see how they compare. I hope that this helps someone. I cringe when I think I almost went with Haddon's recommendation. Oh, last thing..Haddon tech did not put shoe shields on to protect my carpet but Contra Costa Climate Control did!

good...replaced the fuse and told me my A/C is pulling too much voltage and will eventually fail.

I had used them in the past and had positive experience. This time it wasn't very good. He came out and the furnace had started working by that time. He kept going on and on about selling me a new furnace. That wasn't what he was there for. He didn't do anything. It was obnoxious. I told him we weren't in the market for a new furnace, but he kept pushing. It was a very uncomfortable experience all around.

VERY quick response and completed this large amount of work in just a few days. Expensive BUT I have new high performance and trouble free systems for many years to come. Inspectors found a few minor issues still to be fixed but it is the holidays and I do not expect everything to get done until January. The new systems look and perform great.

Leak was found and determined to be unrepairable. Have since replace the unit.

It went very well. I have finally found an AC provider that treated me with respect and didn't take advantage of me. Thank you Angie.

They were on time for appointments, helped us get the appropriately powerful components for the job, and organized the inspections to get a rebate from the local power company for upgrading to more efficient units with less leakage of air.

Best service I have had so far from an HVAC company.

Victor came out and inspected our HVAC system on a rental house, replaced filter, advised on replacement. Very personable, presented clear options if we decide to upgrade in the future. No pressure.

Haddon's repair recommendation was faulty and overpriced.

Got two estimates, they were 20% cheaper. Explained options well before purchase. One complaint is that they didn't send me the tax credit form until I reminded them by email, but the work was done around the very end of 2013 so cannot fault them too much as during vacation times things can fall thru the cracks.

Very pleasant and professional staff. Finished the job one day ahead of schedule.
