+ -1 moreMy service technician James Hatch is the best. He always checks with me before beginning my service to make sure I don't have any new problems or concerns. He honors my requests (leave the spiderwebs, don't spray around my lemon trees) even if it they are sort of different. He's very careful about my pets food and water bowls too. I feel completely at ease with his service, even if I'm not home when he arrives.

Description of Work: Outsourced the tenting of our home for termites. Termites were still the and the representative said he would come out and spot treat. He never came out and has not returned any further calls despite chances for Clark to rectify the problem. I contacteded the subcontractor who stated it was Clarks problem. Dear Clark: You still have the chance to fix the problem and then I can update the review. Please contact me.

+ -1 moreOK overall, except he told us he'd check back in one week but we never heard from him again -- we had to call the office to see if he was coming back out soon. The office had him come back a few days later.
Description of Work: He did am inspection for ants and sports, then sprayed all over the yard and patio.

He’s polite. He’s younger so I just feel that the older guys are just tired and have been doing the service for years.

Description of Work: Clark Pest Control comes monthly to check for pest invasion as rats under the house and insects. They come quarterly to check for termites. They did a major rodent project around the foundation of my house. If there is any concern about rats, raccoons, bugs or mothers, I call them and they come right over. Gabe, my Clark man, is so pleasant.

+ -1 moreI was very satisfied with the service. They were really patient in terms of explaining everything and how to cancel the service when it was no longer needed which was easy to do. It only took three weeks for the whole infestation to be gone, I kept the service about a month after just to be sure then I was able to cancel, it was perfect! They get the job done!

Description of Work: After having a couple of sleepless nights and frantically trying to research information about bug species and treatment options, I made the decision to call CLARK PEST CONTROL in Concord! I wanted to write about my positive experience with the East Bay California company so others could benefit and hopefully not suffer like I did. I was all over the internet looking up resources and trying to determine the best course of action to take along with the correct pest control company. Out of desperation, I even joined Angie's List to get additional information to assist me on my decision since my research advised that inexperienced company's can make the problem worse! My problem is that I fear bugs and I observed a few bugs located in one of my bedrooms that I as unsure about. In sheer panic and desperation, I assume it was the dreaded bed bug! Oh no! Recently, I made a first time purchase of quality "used furniture" from a prominent family in San Ramon. After my research, I did not realize that "wood" could be inhabited by bed bugs as I thought they were only found in fabric such as mattresses, chair and couch, etc. (I had researched that Clark offered both heat and fumigation treatments for bb, so I knew they had all the tools to eradicate these pests.) Initially I spoke with Richard at Clark who was very sympathetic and advised that he'd like me to speak to their bb expert, Robert Walian. Robert was current out on a call but I was assured that he'd return my call same day, which he did about a half hour later and offered to come over and inspect that same day. Robert was very professional and thorough, and even put booties on his shoes, prior to entering my home. He was extremely calming, accommodating and patient with me thoroughly examined my bedroom, closet, hallway, living room, etc. He knew I was afraid of bugs so he pulled up all my mattresses and reviewed every inch with a flash light. Luckily, he found NO BED BUGS, only a few carpet beetles. He provided me with suggestions on how to rid them and reassured that he could not locate any bed bugs at this time. He was at my home for quite a while and I offered to pay for his services and he advised, "NO CHARGE" as this was a free consultation! (I felt like I should pay since he was at my home and was very thorough and stayed when he had other appointments. He gave me his business card and said to call him back anytime if I saw anything further. What fantastic service! I will definitely recommend Clark to anyone in need as they are there to assist their customers. Should I require any pest control, Clark will be my first choice!

+ -1 moreI had a serious problem with ants for several years but did not want to use pesticides because of my cats. I finally could not take it any longer and called Clark. I spoke with several companies before selecting Clark. They were very professional, discussed the products they would use, cost, etc. They sent someone to look over my house and we scheduled a time for the first treatment. I removed my cats from the premises before the treatment. The cost included subsequent treatments to rid the house of the ants. It has been a relief to not have ants. It took three treatments. Since then I have a contract for bi-monthly treatment and I am very pleased with the service. Jeremy is here regularly and is a pleasure to work with. The billing address is in Lodi and I'm not sure where the office is located.
Description of Work: Regular treatment of the outside of the house on a contract basis. The company is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreI used Clark's several years ago for a severe termite problem and was skeptical about the long-term success of treatment. When my contractor recently uncovered evidence of subterranean termites, I was very upset. I didn't want to go thru the expense and inconvenience of having to treat my home again. I was also afraid that since I was convinced I had termites, I would be taken advantage of. I feared that a company would exaggerate the amount of work that needed to be done. I called Clark's with the intention of also calling two other companies for estimates. To my surprise and complete relief, the Clark's representative who inspected my house told me that the evidence was old and that he found no termites. He did find dry rot which I already knew about and was in the process of having repaired. I'm convinced that this is an honest company and I will definitely call them again if I think I have a problem.

+ -1 moreI like the fact that they are accessible and when I need them they come right away. I don't like the fact that they use chemicals, but we always close the doors and windows, especially when the kids are around the house. We pay every time they come.
Description of Work: They come to my house every other month to spray mostly the outside because I have had ants and spiders in my backyard. It takes them half an hour to do the job. I don't have to be there for them to come and spray. My house is 3160 square feet.
