+ -1 moreSuccessfully completed the task. Existing carpet had to be cut between bedroom and bathroom (bathroom portion of carpet removed and replaced with tile. Transition from bedroom carpet to bath tile is a tricky job, and needs a specialist to match both sections. Installed a new tack board; provided shims as needed to make carpet and tile match on the level. There was a discrepancy of 1/2 inch that needed to be corrected. Carpet stretched to meet tile - shims were provided in the appropriate areas to prevent "buckling" of the carpet. Job took about 1-1/2 hours. A three (3) year warranty is provided for the work. I am totally satisfied with the job. It really looks great.
Description of Work: Restretched existing carpet and secured to adjoining bathroom tile. Shimmed where needed for level transition.

+ -1 moreHe was very cor dual and explained what he would do from start to finish. Very honest, cleanly, and professional.
Description of Work: John showed up when he said and gave us a detailed estimate and what he would do. He even gave us $10 off for the part we had, which he didn't use, but kept for his future use. He leveled the rug at where the tile meets it and now we can't see hardly any difference in the height of the tile to rug. We would highly recommend him to anyone who would want a first rate job done. Thanks John..........

+ -1 moreBest carpet repair we have had. Tricky location (stair landing) and absolutely no sign of a seam. We have had carpet repair work by others and do see their seams. John was very responsible about being in touch about scheduling. He treated this small job much care and consideration. He worked quickly and professionally.
