Description of Work: After SC Contractors completed work on the Big Deal ($699.00 for 100 sq. ft. of new concrete) I decided to have them install a new retaining wall, two concrete patios in a terraced backyard, steps connecting those areas and an additional walkway. They did a great job at a fair price and were highly responsive and professional.

Description of Work: Replaced and widened the portion of my driveway from the sidewalk to my gate. Also replaced and widened the short walk way to the steps of my porch. The job was completed quickly. A fairly large crew got the job done in two days. The owner came back the following week to pull the frames. My only complaint was the lack of clean up and care for my yard. Containers that were rinsed were dumped on my plants and in the gutter, leaving globs of cement on top of plants. The owner sent a couple of men over to clean up. They were polite and responsive considering the mess that other workers had left. The other quote that I received was for $6000 for the same job. I would use SC Contractors again. | | | |

Description of Work: They removed an asphalt drive way and replaced it with paver stones. A walkway was added and steps replaced with the same stone. They also replaced about 230 square feet of concrete patio in the back yard. They were slightly higher than another competent contractor but provided a warranty with their proposal. | |The work started on time and was completed in the estimated time period. The project manager and workers were professional. The statement of work was also clear and the work done matched what the project manager indicated would be done. | |The project was completed about 8 months ago and the work seems to have endured as it should.

+ 0 moreCouldn't have gone better, Seth arrived on time for the quote, broke down the process, timeline and price. We agreed on the price and the start date for the driveway. Seth's crew arrived on the agreed day and time and ripped up the old driveway in about 30 minutes! - We'd agreed on 4" with re enforcing bars throughout. By Lunchtime the next day the concrete was poured. During this process we decide to have a retaining wall repaired and stuccoed and a new vinyl installed. Seth rolled straight into the new project, we'd agreed a good price again and where clear on the works expected. The work was carried out on time and budget, even when we changed some specs, Seth and the guys went the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. They arrived at 8am and worked through till gone 6pm most nights. I've been the victim of bogus reviews in the past, however if you have any questions or would like to verify this report, I gave Seth my card or you can contact me via Angie's list. Do NOT hire a concrete/masonry team without calling Seth and his crew.
